This is the 7th annual Friday Night Victors All Blog team. As usual, it was tough with 16 teams and us picking an offense and a defense, especially with so many of our coverage teams making the playoffs this season. There will be 12 players on each side of the ball plus a kicker and a punter. We reached out to every coach asking for nominations. We heard back from almost everyone. Nobody will be listed twice. We also included our Overall Player of the Year, as well as, Defensive Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year. We also included three Wildcard players, that are too good to keep off of our team. Click on the player’s name and you will see highlights for most of the players. As always let’s cheer those who made the team. We understand that good players won’t make it. That’s okay, it’s not a slight. These are the players that we went with.

Overall Player of the Year
Drew Harris, SMCC RB/K
FNV on Harris: Harris had a great season and was the Falcon’s go-to-guy in the backfield this season. In a style of offense that relies on multiple ball carriers; Harris carried the ball 33% of the time and scored over 40% of the teams rushing TD’s. He was a guy who could catch the ball out of the backfield and could grind out the tough yards when needed while being a threat to score on every play.
Co-Offensive Player of the Year
Joe Krolak, Carlson QB
FNV on Krolak: Krolak was asked to do more for the Marauders after star RB Izaiah Wright missed much of the season with a nagging injury. Krolak didn’t disappoint and had arguably the best season ever for a Marauder QB.
Graham Junge, Flat Rock QB
FNV on Junge: Watching Junge over the years has been a joy. He didn’t always have the strongest arm or the fastest feet in the stadium, but he was always the smartest player and seemed to always have the will to prepare for his opponents. Easily the best overall QB in Monroe County history.
Defensive Player of the Year
Brady Hines, SMCC DE/LB
FNV on Hines: Hines is a game changer on defense and opposing coaches knew that. You don’t have to look further than the State Championship game where Hines was consistently double and tripled teamed by Millington.
