Summerfield Dominates Erie Mason 62-0

The Summerfield Bulldogs delivered a crushing blow to the Erie Mason Eagles on Friday night, securing a resounding 62-0 victory. The Bulldogs’ offense was unstoppable, racking up 302 rushing yards and 166 passing yards, with six touchdowns on the ground and two through the air.

Mitchell Gomulinski led the charge with 182 rushing yards and two touchdowns on just 12 carries. Hayden Noland added 66 yards and a touchdown on five carries, while Eli VanHuysen, Reece Kalb, and Brenden Myshock also contributed to the scoring.

Quarterback Trace Secor was perfect through the air, completing all four of his passes for 126 yards and two touchdowns. Myshock was the top receiver with four catches for 110 yards and a touchdown.

The Bulldogs’ defense was equally impressive, shutting out the Eagles and forcing three interceptions. Tyler Dafoe picked off two passes, while Hayden Noland grabbed one. Mitchell Gomulinski and Jude Flowers each recorded nine tackles, with Gomulinski adding a pass breakup.

Noland also made an impact on special teams, returning a punt 51 yards for a touchdown.

With the victory, the Bulldogs clinched the TCC in it’s final season while improving to 6-1 overall. Summerfield will travel to 0-7 Vanlue in Ohio to play the Wildcats in week 8.

The Eagles 1-6 will look to get healthy next week as they travel to 3-4 Lutheran Westland to play the Warriors.
