  1. Not approving any more comments on the injury(how it happened) or the behavior of players and fans.
We dont like to see injuries whether it be the last guy on the bench or the star player.
Both equally bad when someone’s season is over.

    lots of emotion and provocation.

Time to move on to next week.

  2. Let’s go boys, prayers for Ian. Time to turn the page.Up next are the Falcons of Smcc. This game is going to get ugly, Riverview will have a running clock on the Falcons before half time. I told you Riverview is just that much better then everyone. I watch Smcc play this year and they won’t get it done running into the middle of the Pirates Defense. The view is to big and strong and it will mark I think 10 years since Smcc beat the Pirates. Pirates 62-14

    1. That much better than everyone else?

They were down 1 with 130 left in the game brother….

Pump the brakes….you guys have a great team but please pump the brakes.

      Try getting a hobby.

      1. MATT…..every year…yes better than everyone else! Yes we were down bye 1 with 1:30 left. Than number 5 Droped a bomb on you. We don’t pump brakes we pump wins. Are hobby is TRAPPING you!

  3. People are funny. A handful of people make silly or stupid comments and then others think it’s the entire fanbase. There are yahoos in every fanbase. You have to ignore the yahoos because they are yahoos. It is as simple as that.

Does anyone know how officials are assigned? I do! The league has an assignor who is given the schedule each year and assigns the crews. It’s a pretty simple process. It isn’t like the old days when each school had a regular set of officials who would do every one of their home games. Officials call them like they see them. Most calls are good, some are suspect and one here or there might be bad, but those are never intentional, they are just mistakes or a poor interpretation of what happened. Do we get mad? Of course we do, we are partisan towards the team we want to win. Its human nature.

  4. Last year they got smoked by a very good Airport wasn’t even a competitive game and all View did was blamed the refs and blamed missing player and talked about how they were the better team instead of just saying we lost. Now this year they played a close to a very good Rams team and won they want to make excuses why the game was close. Both teams played good great game.

  5. There is something to be said about sportsmanship….Riverview, you are good, everyone knows that, but not giving FR any credit is just proof to your character.

FR is tough and gritty, and had it in them to compete with you all, and it amazes me that they still get zero respect. You should want the game to be competitive. That’s what Friday Night Lights is all about! Who wants to blow out their competitor every week…lame

Taunting is part of the game and sports. We all get that. However, standing on those sidelines, the words that were coming out of the View players mouths during the game was embarrassing and mortifying. So yes, maybe a FR player spoke back. Okay…but the icing on the cake was the View QB coming off the field at half and going to the locker room giving double middle fingers to the student section of FR. Unacceptable

    Lead by example
    Be a winner
Take your win and quit crying about the refs.

You win you cry about it
You lose you cry about it

How about just saying…hell of a game. Because regardless that’s what it was…a battle

    No game is perfect
I think you all are so sour because it was harder than you thought…that’s okay…we see right through you

You are a talented crew…no one can take that from you all, be proud of that, but the behavior displayed, needs some work

    That’s all

  6. I’m not sure I’ve ever heard more whining, complaining, crying, finger pointing from a fan base for a team that won the game.
    I mean, really?

  7. This game wasn’t as close as the score says. Worst refs to ever officiate a football game, was very concerned for Riverview safety at some points in the game. Phantom holding calls calling back multiple TDs, Flat Rock getting multiple first downs cause of flags.

Riverview is not perfect but they are disciplined more than most. Getting called on taunts and celebrations was insane giving FR way too many yards. Also FR players yelling in view players faces and not getting called for anything. Absolutely unreal reffing on that game, FR should have been put down well before they went up with 2 minutes left.

I’m also enjoying seeing all this cope from FR on some “timeout” that wasn’t called when they were just gifted a holding penalty on the QBs 80 yard TD run. That’s OKAY tho Riverview played a clean game and got the win they deserved. The better team won while also beating these “refs.”

    1. Your funny and ridiculous at the same time 😂

Both sides have things didn’t bounce there way like the time out and the no measurement.

I can agree Riverview’s great. Can also say FR fought for everything to take the lead into the last 10 seconds of the game.

Sometimes a guy might score a TD if his teammate holds for him.

Just take the win, we take the loss…

But don’t act as if the whole reason your beloved pirates had a close game is because the refs. FR doesn’t quit, just like last year when it came down to the final drive on controversial calls.

When you play close games the refs often are part of the result. I’m not gonna hit the playing up 2 division thing but the reality is because you are so dominant you rarely see the impact of the officials. It happens almost every game.

      Deal with it.

    2. You started the second paragraph with Riverview is more disciplined than most…..bold face lie. When you walk off the field with both middle fingers up…..awesome just awesome. The reason the kid did it is because he knew he would not get in trouble….shame on the Riverview leadership. I graduated from Riverview and was truly embarrassed.
