The Dundee Vikings saw a close game at halftime slip away as Adrian Madison dominated the second half, scoring 24 unanswered points to secure a 38-13 victory.

Dundee started strong, with senior defensive lineman Carter Ray intercepting a deflected pass and returning it 33 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter. Jay Hickey’s extra point kick gave the Vikings a 7-0 lead.

Madison responded with a 12-yard touchdown pass from Brian Dopp to Bryce Jordan, tying the game at 7-7. Dundee regained the lead when Ryan Zanger connected with Joey Brink for a 22-yard touchdown, making it 13-7 with 58 seconds left in the half.

However, Madison’s JR Tillmann caught a 67-yard pass from Dopp with just 10 seconds remaining, giving the Trojans a 14-13 halftime advantage.

The second half belonged to Madison, as Dopp scrambled for 56-yard and 60-yard touchdown runs in the third and fourth quarters, respectively. The Trojans added a 22-yard field goal and Dopp sealed the win with a 40-yard interception return for a touchdown.

Joey Brink led Dundee’s offense with 114 yards on 29 carries, while Quinton Lephew hauled in two passes for 67 yards. Ryan Zanger completed 4 of 16 passes for 99 yards but threw two interceptions.

Defensively, Caleb Vaughan and Evan Bennett each recorded five tackles, with Vaughan applying consistent pressure on Dopp.
