The Dundee Vikings evened their record at 1-1 with a commanding 53-0 victory over the Erie Mason Eagles. Senior running back Joey Brink led the charge with five rushing touchdowns, accumulating 163 yards on 14 carries. Quarterback Ryan Zanger added a 2-yard rushing touchdown and completed 9 of 15 passes for 131 yards.
The Vikings’ offense was unstoppable, scoring on five of their six first-half possessions. Jackson Martin scored two touchdowns in the second half, including a 63-yard punt return to close out the scoring.
Defensively, Dundee dominated the Eagles, holding them to less than 50 yards of offense. The Vikings had 12 tackles for loss, with Caleb Vaughan leading the way with four. Quinton Lephew, Jacob Foster, and Cade Salenbien also had standout performances on defense.
The Vikings look to build on this momentum as they face the Onsted Wildcats in their next matchup.
