Week 5, Our Thoughts, Not Yours

By Chris Schultz and Frank Vajcner

Each week, Chris and Frank will give their thoughts on our blog teams. For the most part, one will generally keep things on the rails, while the other goes a little off the wall.

Airport

Frank: J-E-T-S…JETS, JETS, JETS (Not that team from New York).

Chris: I said, Airport would win the next 4. There is one!

Bedford

Frank: Did Bedford take a catnap during the game?

Chris: Take them any way you can get them.

Carlson

Frank: Marauders are still a wagon, even with no Izaiah Wright.

Chris: No Wright, no wrong

Dundee

Frank: Aside from next week, I’m having a hard time seeing any more wins for the Vikings.

Chris: The Vikes need a dub bad or they might start thinking about winter sports.

Erie Mason

Frank: Eagles just struggle with big, physical teams.

Chris: You win with the BIG uglies and ATA’s guys were just BIGGER and uglier.

Flat Rock

Frank: Will the real Ram defense please stand up?

Chris: We know the Rams can score, but unfortunately they are unable to stop the T offense again.

Grosse Ile

Frank: No shutout this week, but this is still the bottom of the chili pot.

Chris: Obviously there was a game played, but did anyone stop by Frank’s Cafe before the game?

Huron

Frank: Chiefs take care of business, but was there anything that would draw the WWE’s attention?

Chris: Frank took my thought.

Ida

Frank: I had a friend text me and say that the Streaks were winning out. Let’s just get through the next one first.

Chris: I was surprised by that score. Not the outcome, just the score.

Jefferson

Frank: A win is coming for Da Bears. When exactly? Stay tuned.

Chris: Frank just wants to be able to say, Da Bears

Milan

Frank: Will the real Big Red offense please stand up?

Chris: This is a tough stretch for the Big Reds

Monroe

Frank: You can’t win by scoring just once in a game in the SEC Red.

Chris: The Trojans better get a win this week or there might not be another in 2024

Riverview

Frank: That was the game of the year (Part I), but moving forward without a star will be a big challenge.

Chris: Riverview’s game at Flat Rock took nearly 3 hours. The game this week with SMCC might be over in an hour.

SMCC

Frank: Next week will be Game of the Year, Part II: Electric Boogaloo. And it may be time to start taking the Falcon defense seriously.

Chris: Electric Boogaloo?

Summerfield

Frank: Once in a while, Bulldogs walk into The Woods and come out winners. But of course there may not be a next time for it.

Chris: Great win for the Dawgs!

Whiteford

Frank: Panic time? No. Concern time? Yes.

Chris: Nobody, I mean nobody comes into the………..Nevermind

Bonus:

Frank: Homecoming traffic is a fustercluck.

Chris: I don’t know what that means.

Frank: Prayers up for Ian Adams.

Chris: I know the View has a Next Man Up mentality, but that sucks.

Frank: Not going to watch a team get blown out that is only available on streaming.

Chris: I was able to watch the Spartans get crushed because I get Peacock for the Premier League matches.

Frank: I can’t put any logic behind what the Detroit Tigers have done, but I will enjoy having postseason baseball for the first time in a decade.

Chris: There is such a thing as October baseball?

Frank: We are on to Seattle.

Chris: I thought the Lions played at home Monday.
