With the bracket, Flat Rock is in; it’s not crazy to say they can make a run to a potential Final Four matchup against either Notre Dame or Corunna. The week one matchup against Milan for Flat Rock, I wouldn’t call it an easy game for the Flat Rock Rams. You never like playing a team twice in one year, but I feel that the 49-21 game was a statement that Flat Rock is by far the better team. With talents like Brian Booms, who was unstoppable in week 6, if the Milan Big Reds focus more on the run game, Flat Rock will just open up the offense with star QB Graham Junge and his big offensive threats like Alex, Rocco, Pep, and the Szalay boys. Upfront, Milan doesn’t even compare to Flat Rock in the trenches with the likes of Percha, Booth, and Beaudrie, all second-year starters on this tough offensive line. My prediction is just another pounding from Flat Rock on the Big Reds this Friday. I don’t want to get to the week 2 matchup against either Summit or Romulus yet; we have to take it one week at a time.
GO RAMS!!!!
Amazing path for the Rams.
Their semi(if they are to make it) will be another story.
neutral field
[2023] Notre Dame Prep (Pontiac, MI) 48 (>99%), [2023] Flat Rock (MI) 7 (<1%)
One game at a time.
Norte dame prep destroys flat rock no hate at all but it is what it is
NDP has to get by Corunna first..
That will be a dandy.
Agreed. Divine Child is a tough out though. They play hard and they have a really good so RB. Win the game up front and they should walk away with a district title at least
I’ll be rooting for all HL teams. Truly.
Hopefully we’ve got a few teams who can make some runs this year.
GO PIRATES (and Jets, Rams, and Falcons. Sorry, Big Red)
Airport got a good draw with 2 potential home games in a winnable district.
