I really wanted you to win that game, I thought it would be good for the league.
Two more wins are coming!
I would love to see this team get an eventual shot at River Rouge.
October 9th will be your biggest game since 2012.
Rivalry game next week for the Eagles.
Quick, decisive, classy win for the Rams.
Congrats on your Co-Championship, now go get the whole thing!
Gotta play some defense.
Injuries catch up a bit?
I predict a season ending victory.
I really wanted to be there for the match up of top coaches in the Huron League.
Should I go to Saline?
Colvin Cup equals share of the title.
I would love to see a game between the Falcons and Riverview Gabriel Richard.
Hey, someone sent in a score last night from Petersburg! We have at least one reader.
Twenty-one points? What is going on down there with that defense?
It wouldn’t surprise me if the visiting team left East Lansing with a “W” today.
Somebody is sitting atop the B1G East division standings, how long until they settle into 3rd?
Home team will win this week, but still finish 6-10.
Still wondering if Gary and I should do a live show?
IPA a flavored Beer? SMH
Just for the record, I did play football at Flat Rock. I wasn’t particularly good though.
All football coaches and players work hard, not just the one’s with winning records.

6:34…..you are a clown thinking you had 700+ at the game. GI played a solid game against a team that had too many turnovers. A "beat down" is hilarious, but enjoy your perspective. By the way….everyone that posts….going to Milan is SOOOO far is crap. Milan makes those trips EVERYDAY to p,any a game….regardless of the game. Suck it up Alice!
Well Gary , were closer than you think and we're gonna find out …
If that is true, how effective can they be? Huber's injury was nasty. Marino has been out since week 1. Collar bones are usually pretty quick to heal but often can be re-injured.
I hope for the best for these boys.
@6:34 PM, a spanking? LOL. Obviously you were not at the game. And, if there wasn’t an issue, you wouldn’t feel the need to defend. It was an observation by those at the game and repeated. Check the tape? Did you count? GI is doing the best they have done since 1997? FYI, that’s 21 years. On to the next game.
Word on the street is Huber and Marino will be back for week one of playoffs
Milan needs to figure out how to get Tristan Hines 25 plus touches per game…CC alum
Milan should spend their energy on how to stop quality balanced offensive attacks, like the one that but a beat down on them Friday night, instead being worried about the opponents fan base. The Big Red Machine should also figure out how to not turn the ball over against a Playoff level Defensive.
GI has a awesome fan base and has for many years. In fact, GI has played teams on the road with more fans in their stands than the home team, even in the down even years.
Truth is, us Devils knew this game was going to be a blowout and needed to get up early Saturday AM to travel to Bloomfield Hills to support our Red Devil Volleyball team. LOL!
Seriously, posting about crowd size after that spanking…
(FYI, GI had 700+ fans at the game, check the tape 😉
You don't have to add fruit to a Hefeweizen. Treat yourself to a Dunkel Hefeweizen sometime. Very refreshing. Yes, IPA's have been around forever, but I have been to many a tavern with multiple taps, and 85% of the handles are IPA's. We're not transporting ales to our colonies in India any longer. You don't need that many hops. If my tongue is getting numb after the first couple of sips, it's a bit much. I'd like to taste my dinner.
I like it a lot, but usually pass on the orange that accompanies it. It has a hint of fruitiness. I like soft parade too. I am not a fan of Cherry Wheat or some of those crazy combinations, like Atwater Whango.
@chrisschultz, you don’t like Oberon?
@11:01 AM, yes. 👊🏻
For CC to do anything in the playoffs they have to get there defense straightened out..I know they have injuries, but cmon …
All iced beer sucked. IPA’s have been around forever .Is it trendy? Yes of course. Hefeweizen’s are great but those are the beers that get the fruit flavored added. Personally not a fan of those.
Milan offense needs to go to stack wide receivers set out wide on both sides of field. Still can run the same rub and curl routes and might add some confusion as well. Teams wouldn't be able to stack box either. You want to spread teams out, then spread them out. Draw it out on paper. The options are endless and your athletes have space. Creativity is needed.
@9:49 AM, we are not worried about you, it was just sad for a 6-0 team that supporters couldn’t be bothered to drive 60 minutes. Congrats on the win. On to the next game. #gobigreds #onohmilan
IPA's are this decade's Ice Beer. Completely oversaturated market. Give me a Hefeweizen any day.
You called Northwestern
Milan doesn’t have fan buses either! Even at the Bridgeport game I think Milans fan base was bigger for most of the game!!! But we love and support our football team no matter where they play!!! You better believe when Milan is on the Island next year, their fans will be right there with them!!!!
We're not going to get a huge student section to drive to Milan – we don't have fan buses. There will be another big crowd at the Riverview game at home this week. Don't worry about us we're fine!
Yes Chris, Milan knows about long commutes to support our Big Reds. Milan to Bridgeport, 90 minutes, if you were lucky enough to encounter perfect driving conditions. 🙃
Google that drive. It’s 53 minutes normally. On a Friday over an hour. You cross over 9 sets of railroad tracks between GI and Milan high schools. Last Friday’s game against CC was full on the island.
i was at the Milan-GI game on Friday. Was shocked at the disappointing fan turnout by GI. You would have thought GI was 0-6. #5 made some great catchs, and #7 ran with purpose. #51 on defense was a beatttt. Milsn's #7 was the best player on the field. That being said, GI deserved to win that game. Despite their poor fan support.
@2:17 PM, GI won but let’s not act like it wasn’t very close, numerous times, to being tied. Dominated, LOL. Were you there at the Milan game? Not many GI supporters showed up. 😉
MSU is awful. Worst offensive line in the Big Ten.
Unfortunately I wouldn’t know anything about that. I haven’t seen them play this year. I couldn’t give you anything more than what I read or hear. Sorry.
Chris or Gary why do you think milan refuses to make adjustments during the game, especially on defense?
Red Devils dominates Rv like they did Milan this week! 62-28 final! You heard it here first! No need to worry about a co-championship! The islanders will keep it safe this year! You can hand it over with the Colvin cup Rv thanks!
I agree with you northwestern may get the W!!
