Bedford @ Crestwood Friday 7:00p

This is the first ever meeting between Bedford and Crestwood on the football field.  Bedford, coming off a 4-022 thumping of Coldwater, holds an overall playoff record of 7-8 and have made the playoffs 7 of the last 10 seasons.  Crestwood, fresh off a defeat by the Red Devils of GI, have made the playoffs for the 2nd time in 18 seasons and hold an overall playoff record of 0-3.

Dearborn Heights Crestwood Chargers(7-0 Western-Wayne, 8-1 overall)

Senior RB JaQuan Smith((5’6″ 165lbs) 560 yards 8 TD

Junior DE Belal Baydoun(6’1″ 240lbs) 6 sacks
Senior DL Mohammad Hage

Crestwood is 3-1 vs current playoff teams and is fronted by Head Coach Mike Berry.

This has the makings of a very hard fought game between a 5-4 perennial playoff team, and an 8-1 squad, joining the playoff ranks for the first time in a while.  Another interesting first round match-up that could go either way.  Can Crestwood stop the run game of Bedford? I believe this will determine the winner.

  1. Second to the last play of the game when GI was taking knee and the refs told the defense he leveled the end and was ejected then threw his helmet through the end zone! Number 11

  2. I wonder if the Bedford coaches are aware that one of the players from crestwood was ejected from the GI game last week and would make him ineligible to play this week?
