Week 4 Game Day Tidbits

Thought we would try a new feature on game days. Just a few idle things about the games for week 4.


Kickoff temperature today is expected to be a rather humid 79 degrees.

Airport’s has won 10 out of the last 11 games against Jefferson.

The last time Bedford beat Saline was 2013.

Carlson is 14-10 all time against Melvindale.

Dundee has only given up 30 points all season.

Erie Mason has lost 12 straight games to Hudson.

Flat Rock’s victory over SMCC last season was their first over the Falcons since 2001.

Grosse Ile is 41-12 all time against Huron.

For Huron, Grosse Ile is the first of a brutal 5 game stretch for the Chiefs.

A win for Ida tonight against Dundee would go a long way in securing the Streaks 6th consecutive playoff birth.

Jefferson has played Airport more times (57) than any other school in the Huron League (26-31).

Riverview is one of two Huron League schools that Milan has a losing record (9-10) against.

Monroe is 7-1 all time against Skyline with an average margin of victory of 28 points.

Riverview has only given up 42 points this season while Milan is averaging 35 ppg.

Summerfield is 4-3 all time against Britton-Deerfield and also 22-14 against Deerfield and 31-20 against Britton Macon.
