in the poll to your left. There were many great performances this week
and we have listed 4 players that are deserving of that distinction.

Christian Brown, Bedford: The sophomore ran for 180 yards and a touchdown in a big rivalry victory over Monroe.  Brown’s performance helped secure the Kicking Mules it’s 7th playoff  appearance in 9 years.

Noah Beaudrie, Erie Mason:  The freshman QB completed 33 of 44 pass attempts for 335 yards with 1TD and a 2 pt conversion.  Beaudrie also ran for 204 yards on 33 attempts while adding a score and 2 pt conversion.  Beaudrie set Mason single game records in yards, completions and attempts.

Hunter Aeschbacker, Milan:  Hunter ran for 233 yards on just 13 carries, scoring on runs of 72, 1 and 62 yards.  He also hauled in a 24 yarder through the air. The junior was also stout on the defensive side, leading the team with 9 tackles.  Aeschbacker’s performance helped get the Big reds back on pace to make the playoffs.

Collin Woolford, SMCC:  The senior running back rushed for 158 yards on 14 carries and 3 scores.  Woolford also returned a kick 85 yards to open the game which set up the Falcons first TD of the game.  Woolford was also stingy on defense from his Safety spot.  Collin’s performance has SMCC back on track to make the playoffs after starting the season 1-3.

  1. That kid just got a new fan!! Crazy only a freshman, week after week he does Lamar Jackson highlights. Awesome for him and Mason. Kid will end up somewhere.

  2. Popularity contest? No disrespect for Bedford kid, but he is 4th on this list with these 4 performances listed. Gary you mentioned watching a video in the recap of Beaudrie kid, where can I see it, I wanna watch that game.

  3. Gary did you conspire with the Vatican on this one? seriously some people need to get a life! Junior will not lose any scholarship offers cause Gary and Chris didn't promote your son or his team this week.

  4. All I know is if a kid has over 500 yards of offense, no questions to even ask, got my vote! He used to play for our jr pirates, he is a great kid.
