Huron saw Milan down so many guys and some on crutches so Huron coach benched half his team!
MILAN HAD THREE PLAYERS ON CRUTCHES TO START THE GAME AND ADDED THE THE FOURTH IN THE FIRST QUARTER- CORNER BACK/PUNTER. AT THIS RATE THEY MAY NOT HAVE ELEVEN TO START THERE LAST GAME OF THE YEAR.
it's becoming clearer. Next week it will be Very clear !
I literally know nothing about the Whiteford Wildcats.
I agree John, this is going by way to fast. Tonight's games are going to be exciting there is not a clear cut winner in one Huron League game. I know #bucnation is planning on showing up in force to support the View at Jefferson. Going to be interesting to see what my alma mata Grosse Ile does against CC, wait I heard there is only one CC, I'm confused. Good luck to all!
Airport has there own share of injuries as well. That's all I'll say. Game time decision-it's a big one!!!
I agree with you 9:05. It seems like we all know now that just about every team could beat another on any given night depending on the matchups. Throw in a little Homecoming distractions in and it gets a little more exciting.Well lets enjoy cause it's going by WAY TO FAST.
Chris, it looks like your FR prediction is not going to happen. I'm hearing that Sameer is out due to injury. That will be a tough role to fill for the Rams if it's accurate.
I do have to say it is fun just to be a Huron League fan this week. I can feel the tension in the air tonight. This is a big week for most teams to prove how really good they are. What are we really made of. Well good luck to all of the young men that make this sport special.
Tsk Tsk Mr. Chris…Tsk Tsk…I have a feeling you told Mr. Gary you got that flat tire…in Flat Rock…when the real truth is you ran over a Bobcat on M50. Sigh…Ohhhhh…
Someone trying to take our job.
Huron will beat Milan and here's why: Milan is faster than Huron at the skilled positions, but Huron has team depth. Huron likes to cycle the running backs in and keeps them fresh. Milan was short this year to begin with and the injuries are mounting each week. Milan is becoming one dimensional since the injury to their passing QB. Should be a tight game until the 4th when Huron pulls away. Final: Huron 34 Milan 23
Riverview will beat Jefferson and here's why: mirror teams here with T against T. Only it's like the varsity against the jv. Riverview is just too big and aggressive for Jefferson to compete. I see this game being out of hand by 1/2 time and Riverview playing some younger kids late. Final: Riverview 35 Jefferson 0
SMCC will beat GI and here's why: SMCC seems to be believing in themselves again. GI doesn't play well away from the island. This should be a closer game than most people think. GI has some quick interior lineman, but to stop the T requires big, stout lineman. This games will be played between the 20 yard lines most of the night. Final: SMCC 16 GI 7
Airport will beat Flat Rock and here's why: Airport and Flat Rock are very similar teams, only Airport has a little better team speed and a few more athletes. Flat Rock seems to be running out of steam near the end of the season. Airport will have the speed to keep up with Flat Rock's trick plays. Final: Airport 38 Flat Rock 30
I know nothing about Whiteford. Sorry https://tricountyconference.wordpress.com/
As I scan the wonderful Monroe News…I notice that the Whiteford Bobcats….the forgotten Monroe County football team…were listed as nr. two in the state. Looks like they are trying to get back to Detroit and try to win that state championship that eluded them last year. Just wanted to let you all know and wonder if you both feel they are going to get there. What says you Mr. Chris and you Mr. Gary? All eyes and ears in Monroe and Lenawee Counties are upon you!!
Ive been cautioning the Bucs not to look past this week. Hopefully the boys learned their lesson from the Flat Rock loss – one that the team feels they should have won. A team that is hanging around each week but still without a win isn’t a pushover – if anything, I think that makes Jefferson more dangerous.
Thank you for the gouge. However we typically don't mention injuries prior to a game. We do know there is a player out whom we mentioned. Thanks for the heads up though.
