Who is going to win the Huron League?

Not going to win many games giving up 51 points.

High school football is just not the same being played on Saturday afternoon.

Vikings need to win out.

Keep your heads up Eagles.

Never easy on the island.

September football should never be this hot.

We’re still rooting for you Bears!

Looks like Milan had just enough in the tank this week.

Two big weeks coming up for the Trojans.

Will Riverview lose again?

Don’t look now, but Gary’s SMCC homeboys are still alive.

Playoff teams?

How come the QB whisperer couldn’t figure out that O’Korn is just better.

  1. If Airport gets in (no guarantee) it would be a nice accomplishment after the last few seasons and especially with a first year coach. Look I'm fully aware Airport could lose any of it's 4 remaining games unless the defense improves. But I know they have enough talent to beat any of those teams. EM

  2. By reading it sounds like you've been lucky to win the three games thus far just stating the fact the Airport D is leagues worst right now in every statistic so odds are you make it in you will not win the playoff game and if it's a good run team it will be bad if that team comes prepared

  3. To answer your question I think Riverview wins the league but don't count out the Huron-Milan winner. Big game in Flat Rock this week, winner still in good position for the playoffs. Your right Chris, can't be giving up 51 points and expect to win. EM

  4. As a SMCC fan, and a MCC alum, I'd just like to give some love and support to two opposing coaches. Coach Duffy at Airport, and Coach Gennoe at Jefferson. Although they may be having different levels of success so far, they are both great coaches and great human beings. My son had Coach Duffy at SMCC as his freshman football coach. All the kids loved him, and it showed on the field by the way they played.Airport is definitely going to turn things around.
Coach Gennoe is a great guy and a great coach. Don't lose faith in him because he's had a rough start. He WILL get things turned around. Some things just take more time.I wish both coaches success, just not against the Falcons. It will definitely make the HL a lot more interesting.

  5. I agree with Adam nobody is being taken lightly. I've said it before and I'll say it again anybody can beat anybody in a given week. You'd be a fool to think any different.

  6. I think Riverview learned a good lesson after the loss to Flat Rock – a game they felt they should have won. However, Jefferson has had some really close games so far showing they don’t plan on rolling over for anyone. I certainly don’t expect this to be an easy game.

  7. Im ready to hear how View is going to sleep on the bears after we got smashed last year by them on our homecoming? For some of the guys on the View team this has been one of the games they've been looking forward to most. They're ready to return the favor.
    View Faithful

  8. 237, you're out your mind. The only game the Bucs really need to worry about is Huron. They are the only team that may be able to match their physicality. They'll win every other game no problem.

  9. Gary and Chris have been great supporters of Buc Nation. The Bucs know anybody can beat anybody on any given day so you have to take every team serious as this last week proved. It's going to be an interesting 3 weeks of Leaugue play.

  10. I think Jefferson may sneak up on Riverview this week. It’s tough for teams to keep their composure after three strong wins in a row.

  11. I don’t think any team from the Huron league should be underestimated. They each have the potential to ruin each other’s season. Should be very interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out.

  12. Have to agree on you about the Sparties. They were bad in almost every part of the game.
Five hundred or below 2 seasons is not going to get it done in East Lansing.
I'm a big MSU fan, they really let me down with the effort against rival Norte Dame.
