Hunter Aeschbacker, Milan: the 2-way junior rushed for 170 yards and 2 TD’s while recording 12 tackles from his LB position in Milan’s win over Flat Rock. He also opened the scoring for the Big Reds with a 90 yards kick off return in the 1st qtr.
Jared Banks, Monroe: The sophomore RB is nominated for the 2nd consecutive week after rushing for 218 yards and 2 TD’s in the Trojan’s 37-20 victory over Ann Arbor Skyline. Monroe improved to 2-1 on the season with the victory.
Sam Brettschneider, Ida: The junior RB ran for two TD’s while gaining 142 yards on 22 carries in Ida’s convincing 46-22 victory over Blissfield. The Bluestreaks are now 3-0.
Cole Salenbien, Dundee: The senior QB threw for 103 yards and 2 TD’s while rushing for 106 yards and a TD in 2-1 Dundee’s 20-7 victory over Hillsdale. The Vikings are 2-1 overall.
Zak Thompson, Grosse Ile: The Red Devil junior QB threw for 200 yards and 3 TD’s as Grosse Ile got their first victory of the season with a 26-6 home win over Jefferson.
