Sage Daniels, Flat Rock: Daniels a RB helped lead the Rams to their first victory over SMCC since 2001. The shifty senior ran for 183 yards and a TD in the 14-12 victory over the Falcons.

Mason Hullibarger, Bedford: the Kicking Mule senior rushed for 159 yards and 2 TD’s as Bedford improved to 3-1 on the season with a 46-13 victory over Ann Arbor Skyline.

Mitchell Payment, Jefferson: the senior plays both ways and did his best to get Jefferson their first win of the season in the Bear’s 23-22 heartbreaking loss to Airport. Payment ran for 2 TD’s and 115 yards in the loss.

Brandon Stewart, Carlson: the often over looked senior brother of sophomore Ian Stewart is quietly having a great season for the 4-0 Marauders. The senior RB rushed for 143 yards and 2 TD’s on just 11 carries in the 34-21 victory over Melvindale.

Dominic Wood, Riverview: the junior QB led a balanced Pirate attack over defending Huron League co-champs Milan on Friday. Wood rushed for 69 yards and a TD while also getting an interception in the end zone while playing defense during the 29-18 win.

  1. Our school has played against Flat Rock already, and I must say that Sage Daniels is one heck of a player!!! He got my vote for sure!!!
