Post High School Plans: I plan to study Sports Marketing and go into sales while playing football in college.
How long have you played organized football? Since the 2nd grade.
What does it mean to play football at Huron? To be an athlete in general is an honor and a privilege. To be a Huron athlete takes that honor even further. Sometimes I get tired at practice and want to quit, but when I put on that red, white and black every Friday night it is game time and it is all worth it. When I think about it, I could never see myself playing for another high school. Chief pride is not just something I say, it is something that I feel and mean.
Best Football Memory: My sophomore year when we played Saline. Not only did we win when everyone said we would lose, I scored 3 touchdowns. Also, it was my 16th birthday, so I got my license that day.
Other Sports: Basketball and Golf
Make that 100 kids
Was at Hurons first conditioning night to watch Phil and others well over 200 kids out there WOW
Phil was a true honor to coach, always respectful and a good sense of humor. I will miss coaching him this year but will keeping an eye on his season.
Best of luck, Jim Bylica
