The Monroe County All-Star football game is in need of coaches for the North Squad. The North team is comprised of players from Airport, Jefferson, Carlson, SMCC, Huron, Milan and Flat Rock. Small parts of Huron, FR and Carlson school districts are in Monroe County. Not sure why, but they are.
Huron and Flat Rock are part of Monroe County. I think Huron might be in both.

Several coaches contacted the blog and last I heard the positions are being filled by those individuals.

Anyone know the past year resaults? I know thensouth won last season 40-18 and before that was south 18-6 and before that was the north but not sure of score? Is there anyone who tracks the past game resaults and can tell the overall series ?
The issue with finding coaches this year was due to the amount of first year coaches on the North side.
Maybe it is time to turn it into more of a regional thing and add more schools, perhaps from the Downriver league, LCAA, Huron League and TCC?
I like the game but I can't stand the fights every year between SMCC & Monroe kids, it is flat out embarrassing

They really need to re-evaluate how they divide the teams….not sure what the answer is but would like to hear others' thoughts
