Chris Schultz Bio

Chris is a 1984 graduate of Flat Rock High School where he was a three sport letter winner in football, basketball and track for the Rams.

He is a 1991 graduate of Eastern Michigan University and currently is the Athletic Director and Assistant Dean of Students at Advanced Tech High School in Dearborn.

Chris has been coaching the better part of the last  26 years and is currently the Men and Women’s Track and Cross Country coach at Advanced Tech.

In August 2009, Chris founded the popular Huron League Football Blog which has seen over 1.3 million visitors since it’s inception.

In January 2017, the blog, which had focused on the eight Huron League schools became Friday Night Victors after adding six more schools to the mix.

Chris resides in Huron Township with his family.

  1. Working in Dearborn I go there often. I appreciate the invite. As of now, I will be taking a night off from football (I will update the blog though). I have existing plans with my better half for dinner and I'm pretty sure she has no interest in a cold football game.:)

  2. I may have to do that. Although I vaguely remember being tossed from there and told to never come back.;) I wonder if Al has a shuttle bus going to the stadium. Big Potatoe pancake dinner @ St. John's Lutheran in Waltz first though. It only happens twice a year.
