  2. Many out there, Rafko was the first one I thought of! Several from Monroe High (Cole, Wilson,Cooley, etc.) but I know we are talking Huron League. Congratulations to this young man and his family!

  3. Charlie Chapman from Airport. I believe he graduated 2009. He went Big Ten. He was on scholarship to Indiana University.

  4. Who were they? Played in the Big Ten I take it? Were they on Full-Rides? I wouldn't know anyone in the 80's that's why I'm asking.

I'm familiar with the kid from Monroe who went to N.C. State. and plays for the Vikings for example.

  5. I don't know of any Division 2 offers that were out there in the Huron League last year let alone Division 1. With the exception being the kid from Airport that had a few D-2 offers and 1-AA.

    Chris am I wrong?

  6. Yes I know there are some kids that have played in the MAC and what not. No one that I know of to play in the "so called" Power 5 on Full scholarship. Not referring to the 50's and 60's etc.

  7. I believe he will be the first Power 5 kid in League History. Great publicity for the league with college coaches attending games. I know there have been some PWO's at places like Michigan. Eric Gunderson comes to mind.

  8. While that looks great, I can't forget the numerous Division 1 offers that were out there last year for many seniors……
