Pickens Step Down as Jefferson Coach

The Huron League Coach of the Year, Bruce Pickens has stepped down as the head football coach of the Jefferson Bears. Coach Pickens plans on spending more time with his high school son who is active in a sports at another high school. Pickens replaced Marc Cisco after he retired from coaching. The Bears qualified for the playoffs this season for the first time since 2006 and finished with a record of 5-5.
