  1. Airport has 2 Sophmores on Varsity. A running back and a lineman. The other Sophmores that are on JV will step right in next year to fill vacant spots. I don't think it would matter whether they played JV or Varsity. They're a great group of competitive kids that really support one another. So to answer your comment Airport also has some of their best on Varsity too. you act like your school has the entire Sophmore class on Varsity.

  2. Well, that's better than the guy who kept preaching about the first string and No touchdowns. Varsity is a whole different animal, most of us have best sophomores on varsity right now, so when Airports soph's get their first taste of varsity next year, we will all have a year on them. But hey, if it means a lot to you guys to have a great record on JV, it is what it is. Maybe that is what happened this year.

    Good Luck

  3. Flat Rock JV played a great game last night. Airport got pushed around a little on the line of scrimmage at times. What is Flat Rocks record?

  4. Down to the 7 yard line of airport and we couldn't punch it in. Hats off to Airport but I was proud of the way our boys played tonight. Great job coaches too.

    Proud Flat Rock DAD

    1. If anybody would like to rewatch the game to see what was supposed to have been done and what was actually done, please by all means sit down with your children and learn. I am pretty sure like most of the rest of the schools they have hudl access and can watch any time they would like. Film doesn't lie. Ask them why this or that happened. Prior to each play ask them what their reads or keys were on defense and then see what they did. Did they do their job? If yes wonderful. If not, ask them why. Or what the play was on offense and ask them, did they block who they were supposed to? Did they run the right route? Did the ball carrier run the right hole? Ask your sons what the defensive scheme was for the week and then why the play turned out like it did, good or bad. You might be surprised at the reaponses you receive.
There was some good in that game. There was some bad. Key is to learn from the bad, replicate the good and get better.
      Also Bear fan.

    2. This guy sounds like the Jefferson coach that watched film of the Airport/Jefferson game to see which players were on the field the last 2 minutes.
