  1. I doubt Dundee is checking a Huron League website on a daily basis to talk smack to Airport. My son graduated from Dundee last year and I know Coach Mack would not put up with foolishness from their players. From what I have heard around town that this Friday's game with Airport vs. Dundee will be a good one. Let's hope both coaching staffs are setting the right example for their players as they prepare for the first game of the season and hopes that everyone comes out of the game healthy!

  2. Dundee you can stop trying to start stuff posting on here airport this n that new crop of players new attitude of players here at AP kids who believe win or defeat first game week 2 will not stop or 3 etc……..7..

  3. Airport will struggle. No matter how many talented kids you have, if your outmatched in coaching, it will not go well. Haven't made playoffs in 3 years. It will now be 4. Sorry bout' your luck. Hang in there.

  4. I'm not going to publish a comment that attempts to tear down another team. Plus, your facts were wrong. Grass Lake is D6 and Whiteford is D8, but went to the semi finals last season. I know what your intentions were and I didn't allow it. I would have if you attach a name and verifiable email to go with it. You didn't. Don't like it, don't read.

  5. Dundee, just forfeit. This could get ugly fast. Airport looks big and strong with more speed this year. Dundee is tiny and has no speed back.

  6. Airport dominated Grass Lake, and beat Whiteford if you were keeping score. Ida was the elite team of the scrimmage and would likely defeat us if you were keeping score. I didn't think Airport had so many talented running backs but their QB #10, #24, #15, #42 and #4 all were impressive for the Jets. Sorry to disappoint you Huron League fans but all the preseason confidence of the Jets was well warranted!! I have been watching the program for a few years and I am glad to see Coach Bass throw the ball more and get his best athletes in space. Sorry Dundee but your about to find out what Huron League football is alllllllllll about!

  7. I got out and saw Huron this morning and then SMCC this evening. Huron looked pretty solid, their QB Brett McKay was very good both running and throwing. SMCC has some holes, but they have some players. RB Kevin LaPrad looked solid while RB/DB Collin Woolford was all over the field.

  8. Riverview is a very young team this year, mostly first year varsity juniors. Talented, but not much friday night experience. Should be interesting to see if they can pull it together after losing so many seniors to injuries or people not wanting to play. Bucs have a tough season ahead of them, this season may end up being a transitional period for them and a wait til next year situation.

  9. All the bloggers should meet up at the Riverview scrimmage for some friendly discussion. Besides, we all want to see Riverview.
