Robert Kanitz of Milan High School has been named the Huron League Offensive Player of the Year by the Huron League Football Blog.
The physical senior led the Big Reds to their second straight Huron League Championship and a 20-2 record over that time span. Kanitz threw for over 1,300 yards and had 13 TD passes against only 4 interceptions all season. He rushed for 950 yards and 13 TD’s while leading the diverse Milan offense.
Stats only tell a portion of the story regarding Kanitz. He is a proven winner who plays the QB position with a linebacker mentality. He can make you miss or he can go right through you. He is a coach on the field and will undoubtedly play at the next level if he chooses to.
Riverview’s Josh Smith and SMCC’s Josh Czarniowski were also considered for the award.
Not a chance next year
Why does it matter if the kid wants to put view grad? Who cares? This blog is about kids playing highschool football, not about what people label themselves.
Where's the defense Chris?
please stop the "view " grad stuff.. if your from riverview you dont call it the "view"…grow up
WHY? Are you the View police or just on drugs..I think people can call it what they want so you grow up and get over your 10 year old self! Thanks
I like this pick, no comlaints here. Good job Chris!
