Crestwood/Huron

Crestwood enters this game at 2-6. This Chargers were beaten last week by Edsel Ford 20-6. Huron (2-6) lost to arch rival Flat Rock last week 19-14. The Chiefs won last season’s game 28-6.

This should be a competitive game both teams have struggled this season and have close losses to common opponent Riverview. Pick: Huron 27 Crestwood 21

  1. Enough already get off your high horse! It happens every where. I have family that live in GI and good friends that live in FR. Happens everywhere!!!!! This isn't suppose to be a negative blog and that's what it has turned into lately. Again i say don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all!

  2. Sorry Chris, disagree with you on the lock thing. At GI, only about 1 in 30 lockers has a lock on it. And…haven't locked our house in years. I am guessing it is similar in FR. GIMOM

  3. No shot at Huron, I think the administration has don't a complete 360 at Huron in the past 5 years. It's still a work in progress. Just doesn't make sense that two teams, especially rivals would share a lockerroom. From what I understand, that's what happened and any kid can get in that room.

  4. So there is another shot at Huron. I get it but the fact of the matter is that there are locks on FR lockers just like every other public school because theft is a reality. Get over yourself.

  5. Huron should win this. Having seen both teams against a common opponent, Huron has more weapons and IMHO a better D

  6. It's all about having discipline at your school. If the students, and athletes respect the people in charge, this won't happen. Hence there is never a problem at FR.

  7. I agree. Why do we lock our doors at night and when we are not home? My school (Dearborn ATA) rarely has theft but when ever there is a theft, it's because their locker wasn't locked.

  8. Nobody said the kids deserved getting their stuff taken but this is preventable. Leave the stuff at home, bring a lock with you, give it to someone you can trust.

Do the kids have lockers at school? Yes! Do they have locks? Yes! Why? Because stuff will get taken. Oh except at FR where they don't have those problems.

  9. Wow, sounds like you are blaming the theft on the kids who used the lockers rather than the thieves. I know most kids dont carry a lock and would never think that something would be taken. Place the blame where it belongs! We don't say "she deserves because of how she dressed." We shouldn't say, "they deserved it, they didn't lock it up." Makes me angry.

  10. Why would anybody even bring valuables to a football game when your a player? Seriously who does that? How about leaving them in your own locker in your own locker room?
