Flat Rock looks for new coach

The Flat Rock Rams are looking for a new coach after Joe Pruchnicki was let go as the Rams coach last week. Pruchnicki had led the Rams to their first winning season in 2007 after 16 straight losing seasons.

The Rams seemed poised to have their best season since 2007 with a host of letter winners returning from last seasons 3-6 team.

The April decision is puzzling since the Flat Rock brass doesn’t seem to have a clue who the next coach will be. Most schools would have made the decision in December or January.

As a Flat Rock alumni I hope they get it right and bring in a coach ready to lead the Rams to a solid season.

  1. Time to start blogging again. Football season is here!! Look for riverview, airport and Milan this year. River view has got some athletic transfers. Milan has almost their entire starting offense back and airport has alot of key returners as well!!

  2. What is going on at Flat Rock. Did anyone get the job yet? What is the timeline? Who has applied? Any front runners? Who could they possibly hire?

  3. Not sure about who will apply I am hearing rumors of a few guys. Won't mention names yet. Let's just see how this plays out.

  4. Vince Lombardi would not win at that school. Too many things going against whoever tries to lead it.
Coach was a great guy, I am sure he is not happy about this decision.

  5. He is a real nice guy and I don't agree with the way they went about it, but this had to happen. They need some new blood and new ideas. The program just wasn't performing.

    Good Luck Coach.
