The Milan – GI game was disgusting. Plenty of cheap shots from GI.

I am not sayng you didnt earn the win SITOFN(because you did), I am just saying it could have went the other way very easily. Now is the time you have to really S.I.T.O.F.N. You are now the hunted.
I cant wait to see you and Dundee take the field in week 9. I will be there and expect to see a dandy.
The CC/Air game tonight will be a borometer as to how good you guys are as well. Word is we still dont have Tasker back so that will hurt. Somebody has to step up. Good luck!

BN was right about something. Anyone can beat anyone this year. 3 of the 4 games last week were decided by less than a TD.

BN…sure do. I generally don't like to look back as that is arm-chair QB dribble, but I'll say this:
CC actually crapped it on 2 td pass plays that were basically dropped. GI won the game but saying CC lost it would be "fair" too.
There is no doubt that the HL is up for grabs….the Red Devils are just glad they have the chance and ability to actually jump up and get it. Unlike the last few years.

SITOFN, you do realize how easily you could have lost that game on Friday, do you not? Heck it went to the last second. So I am pretty sure you do realize.

Bad injury the night before on JV, just beating CC for the first time in a decade, D letdown, Looking forward to Air, Looking past Huron, Overhype of View rivalry, etc, etc.
Does GI REALLY know how to win yet….beyond the scoreboard????
With that said….still livin' large on GI right now, we DO deserve it. FR faithful will FULLY UNDERSTAND what I mean as GI (team, school, community) was there just 3 short years ago. Not a slam FR…just an nod that we've felt your pain.

Well SITOFN, I have been reading this blog since Chris started it, and I have been reading about the winds of change every season(most years it gives me a good chuckle). You know what they say about a broken clock?
Enjoy you fun in the sun while it lasts. You deserve it. But I would be use caution and do not put the cart before the horse. This is high school football and anything can happen on any Friday night. And this is Fantasy Island we are talking about, they could still find a way to blow it.

Not to long ago GI was 0-8 combined, now 7-0 soon to be 8-0. Last I checked that qualifies for (winds of) change……where's all the doubters now?

Rumor has it that it was not a pretty scene over at Milan.
GI leading 24-8 with 5 minutes left in 4th then game was stopped. Milan kid down – not sure what happened – taken away in an ambulance – hope the kid is ok…not good.
