Airport tabbed for 2nd place in league race

Last season Airport coach Adam Barber was a rookie coach but still managed to guide the Jets to the playoffs. This season Airport returns a host of starters and could challenge for a league title.

Offensively, the Jets will be more balanced this season after the departure of Huron League OPOY Jodeci Mays. Junior Brandon Potcova will lead the offense and will be a threat both on the ground and through the air. Senior Brandon Lewis returns to the Jet offense after receiving All League honors at WR last season.

Defensively, the Jets will be led by Colton Adkins and Jake Anson. Airport should be much improved on defense this season after giving up a whopping 33 ppg last season. Look for Jet DB Zach Baker to be an impact player on defense this season.

Airport opens the season against Bedford which handled the Jets last season 49-28. The Jets will open Huron League play at Flat Rock the following week.
