In Golf….1st place. Huron League Football…..4th. GI has and always stink, just like SITFON!!!!!
I got you HL fan but GI does play Onsted.. cant ignore that and YES Onsted would fair very well in the huron league and win it from time to time.

bn – Onsted would win the Huron League? My point was the traditional power teams in the Huron League are playing Plymouth, Bedford and Ypsilanti, …. not Dundee/Mason/Crestwood.
That's what I've been saying….how many are gone from last years O line…hard to pass when your on your A&$…….rams
I see the islanders as a let down team..they may win a few games, but won't make the playoffs..
white was first team all state in golf
weak schedule? Onsted and Dundee will be very good games. Onsted would do very well in the HL most every year and sometimes win it.

Lot of similarities between Grosse Ile and UofM. Their defense is horrible. But, if their QB stays healthy, they can beat the teams on their weak schedule.
I heard White is golfing in college. I guess he is awesome. True?
5-4 seems to be the fans pick on the Red Devils.
GI lost their line, so if you think last years D was bad, this year im looking to see them throw 40ppg on Defense.. White will be their main man, hope nothing happens to him tho.
The first post hit the nail on the head. GI will score, but will they score enough to perfume the defensive pig.
They couldn't score enough last year to even hit a winning season. (and GI scored alot!)
I'll call it 6-3 with an improved D and GI could really surprise with a much better D. It pains me to say I don't see it….yet.
PROVE me wrong coach B!!
SITOFN
To add, GI is 7-20 on the road since 2004 season. All 7 win were against teams with losing records, 3 of which vs huron and flat rock.

Got nothing for Chris other than this class was strong at the jv level, giving smcc their toughest game other than airport 36-26. I also like Maloney, ex cc guy;)

Bloody Nutter, I'm still not seeing this Dundee thing. Give me a solid reason why they will be remotely as good as last season. Their entire offense has graduated and the defense gave up over 30 ppg.
For GI its all comes down the opener vs onsted and the the two closers @riv and @dundee. They need to win 2 of those games in order to get to 6. I have them 5-3 going into the dundee game. Traveling to dundee and getting a W will be no easy task.
GI will be anywhere between 4-5 and 6-3. All depends on if they can shore up the D enough to give up 25 a game or so.

Why do people think Milan will be good this year? Gi beats them by 30.
I say 5-4 with losses to Onstead, Airport, CC, and Milan. Not physical enough to hang with the top teams in the league.
Rumor is they have changed their defense this year…. go figure!! The only problem with this is that it usually takes a year or two for chages to make their way throuh to the players excuting the plays properly. Then again since they really did not have a defensive scheme this just may work sooner than later… we will see..
5-4, until they start playing some defense they wont get over the hump.
