okay # 55 played 2 games with the freshman 7 on JV his freshman yr.he played JV this year.
Yes that kid is from Romulus. #55 on j.v had to have 15 plus tackles against us. He played linebacker and shut us down. Huron J.v. parent

Yes there is, oh my gosh, please sit down, a kid from romulus that attends smcc. Shocking! He is at cc because his parents chose to send him there. He is a sophomore played freshman year on freshman team and this year on the JV. Come on you are seriously still beating that dead horse? Do you want to list all the Dundee students from Monroe? If CC recruits why isnt your kid going there? Thats right they only pick the best. GET OVER YOURSELF.All these boys have some sort of Christian background no matter where they come from,so they should go to a public school because YOU think its right,I think the structure and education may have something to do with as well as continuing their beliefs,CC has a good program there but no one goes just for the sports,Be Real.Baseball? Enough with recruiting. I have to say it sounds like people are trying to make excuses before the game is even played. I seen it posted here previously, the CC team is comprised of CYO kids, not recruits as you put it. Besides, did it ever occur to any of you there might be some kid out there who sees a successful program and decides (with his parents)that he would like to play there? Is that recruiting? To the poster of the SMCC recruiting comment: that is funny stuff. Kinda like the pot calling the kettle black. Did you really stop to think before you typed that? I doubt it. Yes we do get kids from different grade schools. I would like to ask you do you know where Justin Heiserman lives? 1 guess not Dundee. How about the Redina boys guess number 2? Let's just say not Dundee. How many other school of choicers are you gonna claim? It is okay that this happens for you so the mighty Viking wrestling team is great? Last time I checked this is America a country based on FREEDOM OF CHOICE! Look it up on wikipedia you might learn something. I just want to say as a resident of Monroe County I am proud of our sporting accomplishments, whether it be Bedford wrestling or Monroe High cross country or Airport volleyball. Why be a hater? SMCCs triple option this Friday is going to consist of sack, fumble, and punt. They are just lucky they got the LCAAs fourth best team. That gives them a chance at respectability. Dundee wins going away without recruiting.

Yes dundee does have a great QB, but if their defence cant stop CC's run game that wont matter because he wont see the field. The other thing is that CC has something Dundee doesnt, Experience. They are returning almost an entire offensive line that can obviously move people, and almost an entire defence that has shut out 3 teams already. If bolster sits in the pocket it will collapse and he will be sacked. I do believe this will either be a barn burner or it will be a blow out and that all depends on the attitude that CC comes out with.

Careful Vikings. Should've joined the blog earlier this year to see how well the smack-talk pays off in an actual game against CC. Your chances of staying in the game are slim. The Huron League is so week that is why last years game with Blissfield versus SMCC was so close. Did you miss that game? I know it was a long time ago. I just went with the eyeball test on Thurston. No they dont have any wins to write home about but when you watch them play, you are impressed.
They also seem to be a well coached bunch which is not often said about Detroit area programs. They are a powerful team who runs it right at you. I am not sure if that suites Airport well.
One thing is for sure, they will play the game and I too give Airport a decent shot at pulling out a win. If they keep care of the ball and if Mays rips off a few long ones for scores they will be right in this one.
The reason I mentioned Adrian(the team most though Airport was going to play) is that I think Thurston would beat Adrian thus Airport getting the tougher first round draw.
Yes Milan will have their hands full with Adrian but I hope they destroy them and expose the SEC for what it is…

I don't think Dundee is a slouch, I just believe that SMCC is that good.
I think your right on the SEC being down and obviously Adrian's loss last week was bad. I just don't see Milan winning that game.
Thurston has some talent but do they really have a signature win? They have some signature losses but do those count? Thurston didn't beat a playoff team while the Jets beat two. I think that is a winnable game for the Jets and the next game would be even more winnable.
Divine Child and Huron should be a good match up. Those kids at Huron a pretty heady and they will enter this game believing they can win.
I honestly think Huron is the favorite vs Divine Child. DDC's schedule was so weak this year it is hard to tell what they are made of.
I have to give the nod to the chief's. It is my belief that the Huron league has them better prepared for the playoffs then DDC will be.
Dont look ahead Chiefs but I also like your chances vs the other side of the district. Melvindale and Detroit Central are also very beatable.
Hopefully Huron will have a great week of practice. Coach K's toughest job may be getting his band of Chiefs to believe they can win. It is such a big deal that Huron made it to the playoffs I hope they dont settle for just that.
This is a VERY winnable game for Huron. Get it done!

Dundee is a much better team now then they were just a few short weeks ago. The 5-4 record is a bit deceiving. They played 6 playoff teams and won their last 2 vs those teams. They beat a good Hillsdale team who has a couple good wins under their belt as well.
Bolster will pose problems for the Falcons. He is big and has a rocket arm. He set the Monroe County Region record for passing yards in a single season. I think that speaks for itself.
It will surely be a contrast of syles this Friday at Navarre Field. It will help Dundee that the coaching staff sees Hudson every year. As some of you may know, Hudson runs the Fullhouse T pretty much the same way SMCC does.
I think some see a 50-14 score but I think it may be closer. If Bolster can sit in the pocket, CC may have their hands full.

Well KC, I agree with evrything u said about Airport but the JM big head part. Airport has develop a nak for getting a late start in many of their games. This Sec half crap just want cut it and I think JM hardly has a Big Head about the yardage. His head has been in grass in the back field in most of the games. Along with hearing over rated at one school that tore him apart. I believe the kid is humble and very discipline. I guess not knowning certain things makes it easier to assume the worst about people…hmmm

Redford Thurston is a very good team. Big and fast.
Yes CC did scrimmage Thurston and it was pretty even.
If Redford were in the Huron League it would have challenged for the title.
It is also my opinion that Thurston is a better team then Adrian. So when Chris says they got a good district… no so fast my friend. Adrian is a fraud in a VERY weak SEC conference. Heck Jefferson ran for 500 yards on the SEC champ(Bedford) in week 9.
Mays will have to be great(he normaly is). The Jets D will have to step up against the run. I attended the Franklin game and Livonia ran all over the Jets.
I again happen to be making a couple recruiting visits to yet another Airport opponent(strange it just worked out this way). It's always a great time in the schools when the playoffs arrive.
It is a winnable gamee for Airport but they will have to play better than they have all year.

Hmmm nice thought, but here's a better one for you: Riverview beat Airport 34-6; Huron beat Riverview 24-14; Airport beat Huron 49-32.. There's a nice little circle, but anywho, scores don't matter, what matters is when your team shows up and does work and executes every play and go hard til the whistle. Thurston can win.. Specially if JM has a big head with 1600 rushing yards.
