Huronleaguefootball just tired of people bashing CC it just gets old those kids work as hard as any other kid and they get bashed for losing they get bashed for winning they bashed for blocking they bashed for not passing come on people really….

Heres an ideal how about you pick the best from each team in the huron league and see if you can beat CC…. I BET NOT….

I said those teams won because they were just flat out better than CC. Crockett and Montague were amazing teams. It wasnt because they were pass happy, it was because they were good! Period!
Running teams can beat CC too. You just have to be good at what you do. GI will pass 50 times against CC, lets see how they fair. Jefferson has beaten SMCC half the time over the last ten years or so. They dont pass at all.
Like I said before you MUST be able to stop the T. If not, it wont matter what you run on offense. Ask GI.
If you must have a weakness in HS football, pass defense is the one to have.
I dare all teams to chuck it 50 times against CC. They will all lose. You cannot win unless you stop the run and are able to run yourself.

Here we go again first it was Jefferson was goig to beat CC because of there big fullback,then it was riverview was going to give CC a game because of last year,now its a passing team thats going to beat CC come on people its getting old…CC is a good team right now and getting better just respect what they are doing because they are if you people remember just a d6 school playing d3 d4 and d5 schools…Beat them first then you will get respect…Until then keep quiet….
you just proved his point,a passing team can beat CC.Thats all that is being said,if you can pass you have a chance against CC.Their Defensive coach will not blitz or stunt .If you are a an ok QB and have a lot of time you can be good,but if you are a good QB and have lots of time you can be great and even a shot at beating CC.CCs D-line pass rush is horrible.Just watch how they charge in,I heard a guy at the last game say it head down and try to run through the O-line and hope your linebackers make the play.Isn't the object to stop them at or behind the line.Cant do it if you cant see them.CC will have problems with Mays if they can't stop him at the line.
To be honest I think the Huron league prepares CC for the playoffs very well. They see a bit of everything from the league and are well prepared come November.

Ask Jefferson and Riverview how good it is. The starters were pulled in the middle of the 3rd and Jefferson was never in the game.
Ask FR after this week how good CC's run game is.
Can they improve? Sure they can but so can everyone else.
The Falcons just need to concentrate on their own motivation and preperation. Only they can stop themselves. Avoid getting the big head and they will be fine.
Milan is a team that worries me. They dominated CC in the 2nd half last year. Should be a good one.

Did Airport throw the ball last year? LOSS for Airport
Did GI throw it on nearly every down? LOSS gor GI
Did Manchester do the same? LOSS Manchester.
It takes more than just throwing the ball, you have to be good at it. It must be what you do and what your team is made of. Just to say "hey we are playing CC this week, we now have to be a passing team" is ridiculous. 99% of HS teams cant turn things on and off. You are what you are at this level. Pass or run. Both is a rare.
Teams have a false sense of hope thinking the pass is the way to beat CC. You have to stop the T to beat them. That is the only way. Hold them to 20 points and you have a shot. If you dont know how to defend the T it is all over for you. It starts with defense folks and it always will.

The schedual does favor CC,but he/she is right.And CCs running game and O-Line is just ok.Well enough for the league but needs to much tougher come playoffs
Like I said you heard it here first,the pass will beat them.yeah those where good teams but with no pass rush someone will figure out that those large cushions willcome back to haunt them.And ther D isnt that of last year either.Very soft at times.
CC has only lost to 2 passing teams the last 2 years and beat 5. EVERYONE in the Huron league would have lost to Montague and Crockett. It wasnt because they passed a lot it was because they were very good.
You dont win at the this level by passing the ball. You win with defense and a running game. Look at the state champs.
D1- CC(all run)
D2- Lowell (all run)
D4- Marshall (all run)
D7- TCSF(all run)
D8- Beal City(all run)
That is 5 of the 8 with nothing but run yardage and the other 3 were a mixture.
You MUST be able to run the ball to be successful at the HS level.

Exactly what game of CC's did you watch?
Its hard to knock CC with the wins they have had in the last two weeks,but if some team were throw consitantly,I belive CC would be in trouble.They give the largest cushion of any team I have ever seen and all because they are afraid of getting beat,they have no rush from the defenive line and they dont blitz.Someone please teach them a lesson,throw+throw=throw may =victory.As far as their run,its not what it was.Backs dont follow through with fakes(backs without ball used to get hit 10-15 yrds down field,backs now don't even run that far now.) and O-line doesn't finish blocking.CC will get upset if this continues.You heard it here first.Although the upcoming schedual is in CC's favor they better toughen up.Far cry from the team of 09.Leadership and and toughness definately in question.Lets see who steps up against CC
