  1. I have lived in GI almost my entire life and have lived YEARS of other people's chip on their shoulder's about GI. I didn't get it growing up and still don't get it raising my family here. We go to work just like everyone else does, have money issues, face foreclosures, try to raise our children like everyone else does – I just don't understand. Can Anonymous at August 19, 2010 11:13 PM please explain this to me because in my 35+ years of living here I'd like SOMEBODY to finally shed some light on this age old mystery – if nothing else other than in football. Perhaps Mr Anonymous has the answers to the worlds problems. Thank you – we'd all appreciate it.

  2. SITOFN calling somebody out because they signed there name "Anonymous"? WHO names there kid "SITOFN"? That sounds pretty anonymous to me. So who's hiding?

  3. If that realy was the DWI coach, that is too funny. I guess he was trying to get the scoop on GI through a blog? Cyber scouting!

  4. "lets see if this scrimmage prepares them for their first game.. oh nevermind they play DWI who has one winning season in the lst 30+ years."

DWI appreciates your opinion and support as the winning season was last year. I believe that GI will have a great team coming back this year. I like Coach Bodner and was really impressed with the whole staff at GI last year. Dex Teen was a class young man and that's all you could hope for to face in an opponent. I look forward to scouting them this evening and developing a game plan for next week. Good Luck to all the teams in the Huron League this year, stay healthy, and hit the books hard this school year!

  5. Nobody hates GI. They are not significant enough (yet). Thier opponents in the scrimmage just stuck out like a sore thumb compared to who all the other teams are playing. Quit being so sensitive SITOFN 🙂

aaaaand I was unaware that SITOFN was your name.

  6. Hey Anonymous….. "You call it hate I call it pointing out the obvious. You do have to admit compared to ALL the other HL teams GI has by far the biggest joke of a scrimmage."

6 notes and counting on the obvious GI chip on your shoulder. Re-re-re-re-re-re-pointing out the obvious is obviously pointing out some GI issues!…IT'S A SCRIMMAGE

Time to man-up and identify yourself and your OBVIOUS anti-GI commentary.

  7. That used to be airport in that scrimmage looks like belleville took their place now. Airport competed with all the teams besides canton they are just too good. I would love to see them scrimmage better teams but that's their choice.

  8. Annapolis has made the playoffs three straight seasons.

aaaand got pounded in the 1st round of the playoffs each time. Just making the playoffs in today's Michigan Highschool football does not make you a good team. Annapolis doesnt put any fear in anyone.

lets see if this scrimmage prepares them for their first game.. oh nevermind they play DWI who has one winning season in the lst 30+ years.

well what has happend to airport, milan, or jefferson when they makethe playoffs??

  9. Belleville- might not win a game
    Monroe- in transition,losing record
    Wyandotte- good record BAD league
    Canton- state title aspirations

  10. Flat Rock scrimmaging M-ville is by far the biggest step up in competition. I just hope they dont come out all injured… FR that is.

  11. GI haters are alive before a single snap….here we go again!

You call it hate I call it pointing out the obvious. You do have to admit compared to ALL the other HL teams GI has by far the biggest joke of a scrimmage. Most of the other schools have stepped up big time in competition and enrolment.

  13. Scrimmages are suppossed to be tune-ups for teams…GI must be looking to work on its offense and defense in these scrimmages not beat a well known football program.

True, however you do want to challenge yourself a bit. I am impressed with all the other HL teams and who they have chosen to scrimmage.
