ya why would anyone ever think they are gonna run all over Huron? There is no history to back that thought.
talk crap now but hurons gonna have the biggest team in the league with there 5 returning linemen and 2 powerfull senior running back so just keep thinking ur gonna runn all over huron..
All i was doing was backing up a previous post in which somebody said that the Big RB from Jefferson didn't play on JV at all that season. Whether what games it was, he still was pushed up halfway through.
i dont understand why everybody puts huron above flat rock every year and for the past 6 years and counting huron has never showed up to play flat rock. all im sayin is u guys make flat rock sound like crap but pound for pound they usally allways give a fight

McCollough was moved up before the Milan and CC game for sure. I believe also the Airport game but not sure. Milan was the only game that the starters played the 2nd half that year. So saying all the tough games were done when he went up is wrong unless you think, Milan and CC aren't tough.
As far as last year that team went through alot of ups and downs with the Seniors and juniors going against each other and then losing the QB early on really split the team. I believe this year will be a ton different. This bunch really plays well together and cares about playing hard as a TEAM. I believe you will see atotally different Jefferson squad this year.( Atleast I sure hope so ).
Having good juniors is noting like having good seniors. The Bears will be just fine this year. 6-3 at worst.
Well if it doesnt mean anything to go 9-0 as JV then I guess the same must go for a team that goes 0-9 as JV. Huron League champs??? The New Boston Huron Chiefs!!!
i'll try this again, Yes i agree that Jefferson's 9-0 JV squad did not play the part on the big stage as well. a lot of teams tend to have strong lower classman, but that doesnt mean all that much the following year
McCollough from Jefferson (the big RB) was pushed up about halfway through the season..after the tough teams that jefferson had worries about were beaten they pushed him up. so don't use the excuse that they went undefeated without their biggest guy because that is false, ask anyone who remembers that season.
Unless Jefferson improves big time in the trenches they'll be about the same as last year. BTW, the 9-0 JV team of '08 sure didn't impress when they got to the big stage.
A prediction is just that, a prediction. The ONLY reason people are saying Airport is gonna be down is because Redmond bounced to Monroe. If he was still there everyone would be singing the same SMCC/Airport in the top two song.
Barber is NOT a bad coach, you will see that when the season starts.
Also, you dont think all this talk about Airport going down the tubes doesn't get these kids motivated?
Everyone should stop riding everyone else's posts, and come up with there OWN ideas. Lets try that fellas.

When this group of seniors were sophs they went 9-0 at the JV level, without the big RB. Jefferson will be very very good and will be favored over Airport.
No way favored to beat Jefferson. Jefferson is the real deal this year.
As of right now I say Airport will be favored to beat Flat Rock, Huron, Milan, Jefferson, Riverview, and Grosse Ile. Underdogs to SMCC and Franklin, Bedford is a toss up.
Airport could be 3-6 and thats if they beat Grosse Ile.
Airport will have a losing record at 4-5 losing to Bedford, SMCC, Jefferson, Riverview and Franklin.
To those that say Airport makes the playoffs… who do they beat to get to 6 wins?

Riverview's Junior class will be major contributors to any kind of success, they have flaws but they have multiple talented players
lets face it boys, huron flatrock well be at the bottom. SOPHOMORES cant win at a varsity level with srs who have been in the weight rooom since freshman year. SMCC JEFFERESON MILAN AIRPORT(all these teams make playoff as well) RIVERVIEW(misses it by one game, BY LACK of JR class) GROSE ILE,(4-5 or 3-6) FLatrock HURON (these guys are 2-7 an 1-8 teams). thats how the league will go.
Wow, nice low blow on the truman passing there but next time keep it above the waist please. the kid gets called out for his flat rock statement and now he tries to justify it, before this season i dont even know if FR knew what passing league was holy crap!
we'll watch out once FR/Huron week rolls around.
hmm Flat Rock is still up compared to 4 yrs. ago with Zmuda. And they will be down granted, they can easily win their opener and closer, and maybe a few in between. BUT they always show up to play against Huron.
Flat Rock thinks they are the only ones in the weight room? Think again pal, alot of teams have been in there since January or before. Keep pumping those weights though, your going to need it.
first off KC flat rock don't have just 3 plays this year there has been a few things added to the play book and the sophomores like mike chickeral and Mike blosser r gonna have a good year just trust me we r doing just fine we overall today beat Taylor Truman scoring 6 times with 3 interceptions lets see how airport does
lol Flat Rock? Watch out? Those are some fierce words I've yet to hear in a long time. specially in the same sentence. Flat rock lost their few good players due to graduation.. FR will be hurting this season.. Hate to be the bearer of bad news.

yeah and all you guys are sophmores, im sorry but sophmores arent gunna be able to handle Smcc,Jefferson,Milan, and Airports Srs. you guys well be lucky to get 3 wins.
The Jets have already had a practice the other day this week, slightly new offense so watch it this passing, First one is July 1st at Truman HS.
Passing this year should be fun for all teams. I'm curious to see how Monroe does, if any schools go out there or verse let us know.

my team the flat rock rams r passing tomorrow at flat rock middlestat field against Taylor at 530 if anybody wants to see
all i can say is that watch out for flat rock this year players r in the weight room 20 in the morning and 20 in the afternoon
