  1. grosse ile will be a good team. but when they played milan they didnt have a good db on camron. made a changed and were all good. airport did the samething with them. and they play really bad D. airport idk with no coach and SATURDAY games? cc will be good milan good. RR will be good, huron i dont know. FR no good with out there star. and jefferson will be ok.

  2. How fitting for GI to face a couple of "cupcake" teams – after all GI has always been known as the "Cake Eaters". Merry Christmas All!

  3. With the cupcakes GI has in their non-league games all they need to do is find 4 wins in the Huron league. FR, Huron, Riverview and Maybe Milan could be those wins. Jefferson has a very good JR class coming in. Who knows how they will be, they could be a year away from being great or those JR's could make noise right away. 6 wins will be tough to come by for the Red Devils but it is possible.

  4. Steven… what do you mean by "dont take the Falcons for granted"? Do you mean dont take them lightly because they lost 5 key seniors? I assure you, nobody will do that or they will lose by 40. OR, do you mean dont take their success for granted? I am just a bit confused my your comment. thanks in advance for responding if you do.

  5. Don't take the Falcons for granted. Giarmo's done an amazing job since taking over. The kids aren't the biggest but they execute. With so many back from the team that went to the State's just a month ago it could be another solid season.

  6. grosse ile returns 4 offensive linemen, 3 widerecivers and there qb on offense and 7 starters on defense…they blew 4th quarter leads against jefferson and milan last year…dou think they can make playoffs this year?

  7. 3 through 6 are going to be hard to seed for next season. 1 and 2 should be CC and Airport automatically until someone finally knocks them out. 7 and 8 are a gimme until they can show otherwise. Huron missed what I think was their best shot last year and FR is still a year away from making any noise. I think you could swap Riverview or Milan for the 3-4 spots. Riverview showed they are an improved team and you can't count out Milan. The 5-6 can go either way with GI and Jefferson. Like SITOFN said, if GI plays "D" then good things can happen. I just don't see it happening for another year. I only got to see Jefferson once this year so this is my tough one. I'm going by what I have read and what I could find.

A lot of things can change between now and August but it looks like it should be another fun season in the Huron League.

  8. The list shows some change from years past. GI will need to bring a D to go along with an impoved O to crack the upper echelon.

If they do, maybe even more surprises, if not…Clubber may have a point.

HL faithful can not mark GI as a "gimme-game" anymore!! Strap it up tight in 2010 boys.

  9. All would be great candidates.

I can't see Redmond leaving Airport at this point of his career.

I don't think Giarmo would leave his Alma Mater. But may embrace the challenge.

Can't see Monroe hiring a coach who isn't in the building. Mossburg has too many years at FR for them to pay him what he would need.
