Coaches? hmmmm. Bodner. Here is why. He plays with the talent he has, not to a scheme that doesn't fit the "team". Also, he has a talented, diverse staff and he lets them do their jobs. Pete Kelly has been around for a long time; he knows his stuff. Jim Mitroka's expertise and skill with the kids is legendary downriver. Derek Anderson brings intensity, youth and freshness; Coach Whitehouse knows the students, has a rapport that none of the others do. ( He could be a head coach anywhere but assists where he teaches.) Bodner is clever and really understands the offense better than most HS coaches. The GI program is lucky to have the team they do.
