Jefferson (1-4) got into the win column last week with a 48-13 victory over Flat Rock while Huron (1-4) lost a wild one to Riverview 40-37. Huron won last year’s game 40-6 but the Bears have won 7 out of 10 against the Chiefs over the last decade.
Jefferson was able to get it going last week. The offense put up some points for the first time all season and the defense was solid.
Huron was able to find the end zone last week against Riverview while the defense struggled somewhat against the speedy Pirates.
Huron desperately needs a win while Jefferson is looking to start a streak. This should be a good game. Pick: Huron 28 Jefferson 20
This will be a great game. Jefferson is very pumped after last week, its also Homecoming at Jefferson, plus Huron is coming off a great game last week.
Should be fun.
Bears 28 Chiefs 24
If Sandore has a big night an upset is very possible. I'll take Huron in a close one. EM
Not true about #4 on FR.
Bad news out of FR, #4 won't play this week injury on the 2nd to last play of the game. Their best player is out.
At 1-3 your coach can still keep the interest of the players " win out and we make the playoffs" at 1-4 things are much different however. Huron now has no shot at the playoffs. Let's see if they can keep it together. Talent wise, this game is a blow out but we shall see.

Jefferson looked very solid last week. I know it was Flat Rock, but they didn't do the things that hurt them in previous games, penalties and turnovers. They had 1 penallty I believe. Just doing that alone will keep them in games. Coaches are making more adjustments also. Should be a great game. Jefferson 35, Huron 31
and down to the wire.
"Huron has played good football all season but mistakes have stricken this teams chances. "
Care to explain how that statement is supposed to make any sense?

Huron is a much better football team. I like how Jefferson's coach is keeping them together, those kids seem to like him.
So lets get real…More impressive is that Huron's coach has them competing even after a 1-4 start. They had aspirations to win the league and make the playoffs, but they're still playing hard. FR kids are playing hard, but lets face it they're tiny and outmatched but they aren't quitting. Where I have questions at is Riverview and GI? Riverview coaches fighting, EACH OTHER, their HC going after an official after the WIN the game?? Great message that sends your kids.
GI- All is well when you're winning on fantasy island, but when the rich aren't getting richer and there is a bit of adversity it seems like you shut down. Couple GI coaches get cocky and run their mouths now they're getting their lunch fed to them..
I think the Jefferson bears have finally found their game. Yes they played Flat Rock but they needed the kickstart. Huron has played good football all season but mistakes have stricken this teams chances. Huron played their best game last Friday against Riverview. If that team shows up, I don't see anyone stopping them. Huron 35-14
