Changing schools or not changing is a very personal decision and should not be discussed on a public forum like this. Keep your tabloid commentary to yourself.
If Dontel stays they win 2..if he goes they might be lucky to compete in 2…FR still has no coach..They probably won't until March..Most teams are already lifting and doing things for next year…When will the administration do something to attract kids to come there?? better yet keep coaches or get out of the league??? Dontel would stay if they went to a different league and the admin took sports seriously..
Next year Milan joins the top half with SMCC, Huron and Riverview; GI drops to the bottom half.
Guess what that better qb thing gets you nothing. Kull threw for 8 yards until cc put their 2 and 3rd string in. The talent level in the huron league is closer than people think it comes down to coaching and the 2 best coached teams also happened to be the best. Get on that level.
Hampton is the starting PG for FR basketball team. Coaching search started the Monday after Thanksgiving.
The QB rhetoric gets old. Please throw out some stats to support your argument. Attempts, completions, yards, TD's and Int will do.
Did Dontel leave FR? Heard the coaching search is a joke and it will be more of the same, FR has 2 easy games next year so may get a win but kind of doubt that even…..

They just posted the job 2 weeks ago. I'm pretty sure there is no truth to them trying to get out of the league. Probably just a rumor started by someone who doesn't want them to stay.
Has FR hired a new coach? I heard with the new coach that they are getting out of the league to make it more attractive for a guy to stay.
Can anyone, (Chris) put truth to this?

Yo that boy Justin miller shoulda been on there I watched him tear up any dline put in front of him all year Lako ran behind him. I'd like to see some film where #50 missed a block and lako still had a 5+ yard gain
Detroit News got it right….8 kids from SMCC on Div 5-6 All State Team. 3 first team and 5 honorable mention. Coach Giarmo was the Div. 5-6 Coach of the Year.
Riverview week 9…. River Rouge next 2 years. Solid pick up
Windham, Lako and Bausman made first team all-state. Vuitch and Hilkens made honorable mention.
Paddy and Mitroka made HM as well.
Four QB's in the league better than Kull. Hartwick, Mitroka, Windham and Kroll from Riverview. Sorry.
Kroll is not better then Kull at all that's a joke! Windham is not better either he had a lot better team any qb in the league could do what he did with that team!

Yeah, all SMCC did was win a State Championship. None of their players were any good.
I think it is an insult. Not only to SMCC, but to ALL the schools SOUTH of Carleton. Jefferson, Monroe, Ida, and all of the south county schools. They should all be insulted.

Justin miller was slighted. He was a horse on SMCC's left side.
I talk to a handful of coaches. I try and do my due diligence. Never an easy process picking only 12 players for each team. (Obviously kicker and punter are included.) You may have noticed I selected 13 on offense. I went with two Split Ends and a Tight End. I think all three were worthy of first team.
Hello Chris, I'm curious about your selection process. Do you only decide or do you receive input from coaches or others? BTW I'm not complaining just would like to know the process. Take care and I love reading this blog.
