Huron (3-4) is coming off of a 30-14 victory over Jefferson while Flat Rock (2-5) fell at Riverview 44-12. Huron won last season’s contest 48-6, but the Rams lead the all-time series 36-14.
Huron was able to break a four game losing streak against the Bears. The offense still revolves around senior QB Matt Hartwick. The defense is led in tackles by junior LB Nik Becker.
Flat Rock is led by their QB Justin Roberts. The athletic senior is capable of running or throwing the ball. The defense has been better this year, but struggled last week against the powerful Riverview running game.
This is a good rivalry game where both teams will come to play. I don’t see an upset here, but this may not be a gimmee for the Chiefs. Pick Huron 31 Flat Rock 12
