They have 7 more games and will be in all of them and few breaks here and there and could get into playoffs. Remember 5 wins sometimes gets you in as well. Also, GI beats the bears on Friday.

GI is the worst team in the league and Dundee might be decent this year in LCAA but that's far from saying they would beat ANY HL team. Those are simply facts. perfectly stated 11:51. In my mind, this Jets team could win 7/8 games this season and contend for HL, but could also only win 3/4. I really am confident that they will at least be in most games this year. Should not get beat soundly in any of them, which could not be said the last couple of years. Real happy to see a 2-0 start and heading upward. Even though Flat Rock has always been a big rivalry of ours, it's really nice to see where they are headed too.

Look Airport fans, Im a fan too but their 2 games in coming off back to back 1-8 records. Their fighting diversity and a stigma that Airport can't change ball. I know their gonna have a winning record, and I believe they have a shot at a HL title and maybe playoffs. But they still have hills to climbs. They'll silence some doubters before the seasons over but there still will be doubters. Their bringing a winning culture back. We see it. Be patient and take doubters with a grain of salt.

Milan showed the bend dont break type of defense in the first half, and matched SMCC pretty well even into the beginning of the 2nd half, but then I agree the defense started to wear on SMCC, and Hines and Aeschbacker did very well to put the game to bed! … Milan has to be very careful not to ONLY utilize Hines (he is a VERY good athlete) but he will have a VERY big target on his back…but all that aside Milan competed and played well.
Milan has some very big bodies up front. They wore down the SMCC defense and offensive lines. Hines has some very impressive tools. That said if you can stop him you stop Milan. They will compete. SMCC look strong early scored on both first half drives and opening second half drive. Then hit the wall and stalled out. Defense had no answer for Hines speed agility or the big guys blocking in space. There mat be more parity in the HL then we may think.
Flat Rock off to strong start. Jets and Chiefs also nice starts. Last year's JV teams for Airport and Flat Rock making a difference on Varsity.
I've read this blog the last few weeks. All the comments about Airport not being able to beat Dundee–well guess what? They did!! Let's move along to Airport/Grosse Ile. Again – everyone chiming in saying Grosse Ile would win. DIDNT HAPPEN FOLKS! If anything-Airport has proved many of you wrong for 2 weeks straight but yet they can't get an ounce of respect. Thanks Chris for the vote of confidence. The Airport boys aren't done yet!! Go Jets!
Look I'm not saying Airport is a world beater or will win the league. Probably the only game left on their schedule they'll be favored is Jefferson, not sure how good Tecumseh is. But I do know they are much better than the last few years. And nobody in league better take them lightly. EM

Very important to get ahead on down and distance when running that offense. They were behind the sticks all evening. You need to be able to throw the ball when necessary and it didn't look like they had that in the play boook.
Why would you guarantee against Jefferson? They faced a team that has only a few losses over the last couple seasons and a team that has been getting hype for a league title. Jefferson is not gonna go 0-9

I don't see Airport winning another game. Huron, Milan, and Flat Rock will make the playoffs. The winner of the Riverview and SMCC game this week will also make the playoffs. The loser will be left looking in from the outside.

You can't determine who the best team in the league is until they play a quality league opponent. After Milan and Flat Rock than we will see. Im not saying Huron isnt the best. We just dont know. Too early to tell. And Huron-Airport will be a good game. Dont count them out just yet.
