I don't think I've seen 1 post saying SMCC will win. I think I started something last year. I think you guys will be a year late.
Yeah, when teams are struggling, people are quiet, SMCC fans were pretty quiet for 3 to 4 weeks early on. Always a BEAR Fan, good years and bad. Always got to stir it up for this game, records don't matter in this one.

Carlson couldn't win with the spread they had been running in years passed. So now they switch over to the T and bam! 7-0.
I dont think there will be any grumblings in Gibraltar if the Marauders compete. Even if they dont, 7-1 is pretty great.
Giarmo will get a pass in year 1 if he doesnt win a big game so to speak.
Remember, its Carlson we are talking about. They have been 7-0 only one other time and have 1 playoff win in school history.

I'll be making the trip tonight to see if the Big Reds can continue their playoff push. Playing at Airport is never easy, so Milan will have to come out on fire like they did last week.
Its great to see the Bear fan back again. After nearly 5 weeks of nothing, here they are. Best thing about rivalry week.
Bears will play their best tonight. They have lost 3 close games in a row. Could easily be 3-4 at this point. This is almost always a great game, rivalry record very close in recent times. This should be another great one.

10:36 my fun fact is correct. I should know, I made the logo back in 2013, not DoSans. Your head coach wasn't coaching then. Feel free to ask around or even ask your coach where he got the logo, then maybe I'll get paid too. Lol As far as class I could bring up quite a few classy things from FR this year but then this post wouldn't make it through so I'll leave it at that.
Honestly I don't care that he uses the logo. I didn't even notice until a couple weeks ago on the Twitter tab on the side of the blog. It's rivalry week and the blog is dead. Stirring the pot a bit and you guys make it too easy. See you guys tomorrow.

12:27 your fun facts aren't correct. FR's coach gives business to the Huron parent because the store is located in Flat Rock. Small town, local support. So every time we all look at our logo and banner we'll remember how the rams are a class act.

Carlson's season is about to change. Things have been going very smoothly with nothing but praise and high expectations. Kind of like a "Jack (G) in a box", the Marauders have been winding the handle throughout the season with nothing but a nice melody. *dink a dink a diddly dink* they narrowly beat Woodhaven, who prob is the only decent team they played. * a dink a dink a dink dink* Trenton, the Taylors, Southgate, and even Allen Park all pretty bad this year. *a dink a dink a diddly dink* POP. Instead of a clown popping out of that box, it's going to be a bunch of " the T sucks" and "why don't we pass more" and "we run the same play all the time". "You can't just jamb the ball up the middle when you have D1 athletes". "Coach G doesn't understand the Downriver league". Yes, these thoughts have all been tightly packed on that spring inside that box all year but at 7-0, nobody dared to say it. It's coming this week and they may not recover for LP.

Wyandotte vs. Carlson is a toss up, I am going with the upset by the Bears
Love this show-can't beat High School football! You both have done a good job being respectful to all teams involved. I'm sure the Carlson people here would argue on those last two picks. Lots of fun though-keep up the great work Gary & Chris!

Rivalry week fun fact. The profile pic logo on Flat Rock's Twitter and t-shirts and banners was created by a Huron parent. Every time you look at that remember that it's owned by the Chiefs now. Guess someone forgot to tell the head coach about that.
