  1. Ok DRL vs. HL
    DRL had 4 teams in
    HL had 3
DRL Southgate loses by 6 to State power Rouge and had ball on 10 going in endzone at end—–AP loses to D2 perennial power Franklin by 7 after being tied until last :58, and 4th best DRL Trenton, loses by 1 at end to HL 2nd best team. Carlson whups SEC Red Bedford.
HL- SMCC and FR beat lesser opponents.

  2. When I go to Calpreps web site- and plug in SMCC VS the top 10 teams listed
    – in a playoff game – neutral filed, there are 2 teams the site has beating SMCC
    Ithaca 53% winning percent
    Millington 60% winning percent

any insight why they think these teams win?

    1. They werent in the top 10 last week either.

I could have put them at 10. Went with Gladwin, who just beat a top 5 team.
I dont think Flat Rock would beat any of the current top 10.

    2. Flat Rock should win the district, which is maybe the weakest district in D5.
Regional or semi will be a different story.
That’s when big boy football begins.
I’m rooting for FR, but they are not elite in D5.

    3. In defense of Gary’s D5 top top 10, where as Flat Rock is having a nice year, their 8 wins were against very poor or sub par teams with a combined record of 20-44.
They have played 2 very good teams and lost them both.
I hope and expect a district and possible regional title again this year.
After that, I’m afraid of a 2023 repeat in a semi.
Go Rams, it’s been fun watching you this year!
