  1. Yes attended 4 games and the scrimmage
Made 1 pre season prediction- yes it was WAY off- I’ve made no other predictions other than the upcoming Hudson game
JLC is too far of a drive-but I was at FF last week watching them
Others above have posted about SMCC going to FF- winning states- beating Hudson- etc…. I thought is was ok to look ahead like others . I do think SMCC wins their 1st 2 playoff games

    1. It is Complicated

No one is allowed to question the blog owners or SMCC supporters. SMCC is a lock to win it all. No need to play the games. Best falcon team ever. Scrimmages are actually not football so those do not count.

    1. I agree, I don’t think there’s been a team in the state to play at their level. Especially with the SOS they have

      1. One game at a time. Blissfield is not going to roll over for them without a fight and Clinton or Whiteford sure as heck is not going to! A Whiteford-SMCC game could be the Falcons biggest challenge of the year. Good luck Falcons

      2. Hudson beat Clinton by more than SMCC did. Which may have been earlier in the year but that would be at their level

        1. That’s a good comparison. I can understand that is only head to head competition.
That said first game of any season in any sport at any level is not anything close to comparing to half way through a season/end of season games.

If you make that comparison then you to be consistent have to compare Hudson’s loss to Fowler and SMCC victory over Riverview. Fowler D8 Riverview D3

I am not here to say SMCC is a lock to beat Hudson but I will say they are much more likely to make finals over Hudson

    2. SMCC has a great D- they are fast, aggressive, disciplined, but SMALL. They have trouble with power teams that pound the ball. Look at the IDA scrimmage- Clinton drove the ball- won time of possession by a huge margin- just couldn’t score, and RV ran the ball at will- just turned it over.
Hudson will control the line of scrimmage, pound the rock- have a big time of possession advantage and SCORE

      Hudson wins by 2-3 scores

      1. Its Simple..

This was your comment in August.
“Schedule is brutal- I see the Falcons losing to Clinton- Country Day- Riverview- Flat Rock- Huron- Milan. They may have some skilled players- but games are won by the those who have the best lines”

You have officially disqualified yourself from making any further predictions on SMCC.

          1. Question on SMCC prediction on losing by 2 or 3 scores. If you are confident in that prediction then you should have a score in mind. Does that mean you think it will be 70-55 or 12-0 or what ?

SMCC offense is cranking out the yards/TD’s. Average scoring per game is 37. The D is giving up average of 7 points a game.

Those averages include 2nd and 3rd team players playing at least one quarter a game. See the coach does incredible job at getting everyone involved and developing for future while winning today.

        1. That was Gary dropping the mic!! All these comparisons of SMCC vs Clinton and SMCC vs Ida in a scrimmage holds zero value. Scrimmages are exactly that-scrimmages. SMCC was just starting a new offense in that first game against Clinton and Hines didn’t play offense along with Linzell barely playing offense. SMCC is a totally different animal now than they were in week 1. They’ll have to beat themselves to lose a game and I don’t see that happening with this group.

          1. Score prediction Hudson 30- SMCC 20

I spoke of Clinton’s time of possession- power running- didn’t say anything about SMCC’s O –
            please fact check TOP

RV did run the ball fairly easy VS SMCC- power running-they turned it over.
Plz fact check RV rushing yards.

While some may diminish scrimmages- there are some take a way’s a keen eye can pick up- –
IDA power running was successful VS SMCC

I consider the above facts- which leads to a trend – and brings me back to my original statement in August
those who win usually have the best line

          2. So by this, it seems you attended many SMCC games and even the scrimmage. Yet pick them to lose over and over. You had them going 2-7 for crying out loud. You should be canceled. Why not just pick a team you like, and go watch them. Like Hudson? Or… anybody.

Again. You don’t believe anything you post. I firmly believe that. And that’s fine. We have several of those kind of commentors. It’s just very strange.

And Hudson would be a semi-final. You jump 6 teams(games) just to find the match-up that suits you. Relax. Just let the games happen. One at a time.
