Week 3 Player of the Week Candidates

By Frank Vajcner

Each week, I will go through the box scores of all of our teams and pick four players whom I will turn to you, the people, to determine our Player of the Week. Go over to our Twitter/X page to vote: @FNVictors

Since the three of us are busy on Friday, we may not be able to get all standout performances. If you have a nomination, hit me up on Twitter/X.

Without further ado…

Tre Eitniear, QB, Whiteford: The sophomore had a hand in four of Whiteford’s six touchdowns in Whiteford’s 44-16 win over Buchanan. He threw for 131 yards and a score, and ran for 38 yards and three touchdowns.

Joey Brink, RB, Dundee: Despite coming out on the losing end against Onsted, Brink followed up his Week 2 performance by rushing for 215 yards and four touchdowns on 38 carries.

Austin O’Dell, RB, Huron: O’Dell helped get the Chiefs their first win of the season, as he rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-7 win over Milan.
