  1. To the poster at 7:14,

Can you please elaborate on how you came to the conclusion that he was being a sour Airport fan? Did you watch ANY games at all this year? The statements he made are fact, FR and most definetly CC play with their saftey inside of 7-8 yards from the LOS on most plays. You WILL NOT see an Airport saftey inside of 10 yards from the LOS, period. I know because I played saftey for Airport a few years back.

    j.w.

  2. how is that anything sour from airport? *news flash* im a milan player and baker had 2 picks against us. im just trying to ask if stats are the only thing that matter? there were a lot of good players in the league and most of them get plays run away from them.

  3. alright, i have one problem with the defensive backs that are being selected. sure they are called "safeties" but on most of the plays both chickeral and pannone are like 5th linebackers. baker is the only real safety on the list with his picks and surprisingly high tackles for the great lb crew at airport. were the cornerbacks just that bad this year or are the teams just taking advantage of running teams?

  4. Riopelle and Pannone we're pretty much two of the same. Both hit hard for being a smaller guy (under 160), lead their teams in tackles, and hardly missed.

  5. NO GI folk on this list…a testament to their season and a glaring statement of what needs attention on the island in order for GI to move out of the bottom echelon of HL performance. So yes….no disagreement here.

Offense wins games (and excites the newspapers and stat-a-holics) and Defense wins championships.

Said differently, Relentless Defensive TEAM performance is the basis and foundation of a successful team. It's an attitude……you either got it or you don't!! Everything else is just X's and O's.

  6. Oh I didnt know you knew them Chris…or are the folks of NB Huron just generaly known as good people? If you say they are good people, then I will take your word for it 😉

  7. Their is a difference between passionate and absurd… Wecloswski to play in Cinci??? Just goes to show you how out of touch some folks are.
