Falcons Soar

SMCC took a 21-6 1st quarter lead and forced a running clock in the 2nd half as the Falcons soared to a 48-6 win over 10-1 Manchester at Navarre Field.

The Falcons improved to 11-1 and will face the winner of Saturday’s Bronson/Constantine game in the Division VI State semi-final next Saturday.

  1. dont know anything about Bronson but Constantine is a mirror image of SMCC. same offense scheme, same level of discipline, they explode off the ball. It should be one hell of a game. There will definently be revenge on the minds of CC's coaching staff if they draw Constantine

  2. I agree with the 7:57 poster. I don't know how this could happen in a REGIONAL FINAL GAME! Pre-districts, okay, but 48-6 in regional finals, that's crazy to me.

To 11:36 poster, Constantine is a good football team. Every year they make the playoffs (just about) and it's always a good matchup. Contantine runs a T just like SMCC and teaches the same fundamentals. They're also the Falcons. I don't know anything about Bronson but I think Constantine will beat them pretty easily.

I think it will be a great team. CC will be looking for revenge since they lost in semis to contantine in 2004 if I'm not mistaken. Good luck CC!

  3. Did not expect the Falcons to dominate the way they did. Def-Coord made some good adjustments to give the D-Line time to put pressure on Manchester's QB. Can't believe Manchester kicked off deep allowing the return for TD – swung the momentum back to SMCC and they never let go!!! Great special teams!!!
GOOD LUCK the rest of the way!!!!
    Good Luck to Summerfield!!!

  4. Anyone know anything about Bronson or Constantine?? I've heard that Constantine runs a similar offense to SMCC's, is that true? How will this game matchup? I don't know anything about any of these teams.
