Arrogant: having or showing feelings of unwarranted importance out of overbearing pride
Ignorant: Unknowledgeable or uneducated; characterized by ignorance; Ill-mannered, crude
for those that do not know.
KC…I guess the readers of this BLOG will have to decide who is ignorant or arrogant.
We both know our votes.
sitofn;
your obviously the ignorant one to not fully read what i had stated. I said he does have talent and I can see that and I won't take that away from him. What I'm saying is I'd like to see him pull the same stuff on the next level to see if it was the poor defensiveness or if he was really that good. You really need a break from this blog site for your to get so anally hurt over a comment like that. I've seen teen play and know he's good… I want to see him do what he did on the next level like what he did in the HL. And you never know… Teen could go unto the next level doing the same stuff he was doing in the HL but not do good and actually get stopped by a defense that knows what theyre doing compared to a high school defense…. Or he could go unto the next level and show his talent and dominate the defense with his speed and maneuvers. Like i said you never know; and id like to see it.. Never said he was worthless or sucked or anything. So take your arrogance elsewhere.
KC
Hey Video watcher:
SERIOUSLY…you're questioning Teen's ability based on poor defensive play!!
That means NO ONE IN THE HL is any good because they ALL STAND UP AND DON'T read….which of course is utter BS.
Or said differently; Mays, Dunn, must be better because the defenses they played against were better??….WAIT A MINUTE, they are the same Defenses!!
Blog comments like that one about Dex are so utterly ridiculous that it can only be classified as "M-Live worthy".
Remember, all the talent rises up as you move up and making predictions based on "lack of competitive talent" in the previous level is TRUE FOR ALL!
I'd expect ridiculous comments like that during the season, but post season jibberish like that is beyond reproach and IGNORANT.
Mays is still in school at AP. My people there say its a crazy rumor. Besides, Monroe has an all league running back and Redmond isn't going to turn that mess around in a year.
Jodeci does one thing. run the ball. look at the listed and tell me someone that playes both ways. I feel like ppl are getting over looked b/c they play bothways and dont have amazing numbers. A coach would take someone that can do it all over anyone that can just run the ball. And for a heads up. the wind is NOT going to be different anytime soon. cc airport and milan will be the only ones in the playoffs. lasted year we heard everyone talk. Nothing changed at all.
watching that video kind of made me laugh… If it wasn't for defenses not reading right and linement standing straight up? Teen wouldn't have done half the stuff he did. The kid does have talent and he is quick and fast and I will give him that; Can't wait to see him play on the next level with more advanced football players to see if he just got lucky or is really that good. Time will tell.
"That transfer baseball kid" is not Joe Dunn. His family has been in Milan since he started school.
Moving on, you had alot of good players on your list, but I was a little surprised (as some others were) that Joe Dunn, Matt Schultz, or DeAndre Mitchell from Milan weren't on the list.
I think that with the departure of some Chiefs that Sterling Wilson could be an absolute stud next year. He is electrifying and I look forward to watching him play. I might also move Robbie White up on the list (future OPOY). I only got to watch him once last year in a game and once on film, but he looks as though he could have the skills necessary to become a Howey-like playmaker.
But I respect your opinion and it would be difficult to go against any of the folks you picked or where you picked them.

Anyone know if Mays is staying at Airport or going with Redmond to Monroe?
I cant wait to watch Teen at saginaw valley state and watch him strap it up tight!
The word on the street is that Teen will travel to Saginaw Valley to showcase his talents at the next level….
Should be a good fit for him.
chris. what team has the most weapons for next season.
is smcc going to repeat a trip to the state championship.
is anyone who didnt make the playoffs going to make it this year?
any all state players this year?
who is going dominate the league.
Sterling was all region. why isnt he up there with McCullough? both are excellent players
weclowski should of been dpoy over pannone, imo. I understand that pannone had better players around him. But chris do you really think pannone is better than weclowski?
OH geez…. Now here comes Airport crying about their placement on the list…. Honestly? No need to cry about your placement on the list now. do work on the field next year then decide if your even fit to be on that list… With losing your coach you might hope to keep things together and not fall apart like everyone is saying will happen. =] 20+ point wins won't happen next year. LOL
Yeah disrespect milan again chris your really good at it man. Only 3 teams went to the playoffs in the league and milan and airport where knocked off at the same time. Milan was in the top 3 but hey no one cares. Look for Joe Dunn (that transfer baseball kid as someone said) to crack some airport or CCs helment running it down your thoats.
Here is how I have someone 3rd on the list.
Bosman was 2nd team all league tight end and a unanimous all league defensive lineman.
Pannone was my choice for Defensive POY last year on the best team and defense in the league.
Is third that bad?
Hey Chris can you name you bottom 10 returning players?
http://www.monroenews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20100129/NEWS01/701299997
let there be light, maybe?
I dont get how a 1,640 yard rusher is 3rd on the list.
LOL How is Jodeci not number 1… really
Jacki…. I think the poster who wrote about your son and Jake Sterling was just trying to point out the importance of 2 way players vice 1 way players. I am not sure if your son played on both sides of the ball or not. I dont recall him playing on the defensive side however. I dont think the poster was trying to put down your son rather point out another good player at Jefferson. I do agree that football is a team sport of which your son is a major factor at Jefferson. So I guess I am just saying that I dont think you should take offense to what was posted for it wasnt meant to slam your son. Everybody that knows anything knows that McCullough is a major part of Jefferson's success and will be even more this upcoming year.
This is to Anonymous who did not feel it important enough to put his name down, but important enough to put kids down: "How about Jake Sterling?? He's a better overall player at jeffferson…very good safety, good QB….McCullough can do one thing" Please make sure you are accurate, McCullough does more than "one thing" for he plays more than one position, and apparently you do not realize this is a team sport. Stating someone is a better overall player is "arrogant" – no one is "better" than the other for it is a TEAM SPORT! If you want to point out Sterling as a positive player that is fine, but DO NOT PUT DOWN A TEAMMATE FOR THEY ARE TEAM PLAYERS…
Jacki McCullough – his mother!
Jefferson does have a new transfer but i don't think he will be starting QB. He will be a starter but not sure he will at QB. Jefferson will have a good team this year. They have alot of returning starters (11) and alot of them will be going both ways this year.
And yes I hear that the transfer kid is a very good baseball player.
I heard Jefferson has a new transfer QB that is to be good that will take over as the starting QB anyone else hear? He's good at baseball too?
I also heard that numerous other efforts are in the plans to get lights back up at Airport. Every body loves FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL! Hope this all works out for them. Times are tough, everyone is feeling the pinch.
Joe Dunn from Milan will be tough.
Theres a rumor going around that a certain players dad is going cover the costs for new lighting.
I disagree CC will be as tough as they come. There center Collins will be healed from off season surgery. He play the whole season injured.Look for him as well as the entire line to man handle the league. They average about 6'2 to 6'3 across the line and all will average about 255+ this season. With all the losses of personel they will be fine.CC had running backs they didn't use due to Lovell and Lebaue,.Pannone might just end up running the ball as well.Plus some up and comers.
D6 will not be down…. Consty and Nouvel will both be very tough. Montague wont have Kater but who wants to play them come playoff time? Hudson may move up to D6, Clare may move down to D6… in many ways D6 could be way tougher than last year. Yes CC wont "replace" leaders like Howey, Lovell and Labeau but I am pretty sure any team in the league would like to have the "problem" of 15 returning staters off of a 12-2 team.
I stand by my comment that 2 way starters are hold more value to a coach than one way. I understand that a coach may not want to play a player both ways maybe to avoid injury or to not tire a player out over what could be a 9-14 game season. But believe me, if you are a complete stud on both sides of the ball the coach will be forced to play you there. Airport wont be good enough this year to not play it's best players on both sides… I say if Mayes is the best db on the team, then he must play there.
No one from Milan, suprising. Thought they had a few Jr's on Def. last season that were pretty good.
Little Spears will be a stud soon.
I dont think smcc will be as good as last years team. Losing to many good players, but the league will be down and Div 6 will be down with no more Montague in the way.
I remember back in the day when CC had rapp, whitman, langton and company on the line. Those mofo's were HUGE!
if the Airport players want to transfer they have to do so by the 1st week of February to be eligible to play in the fall. They have to sit out a semester of a sport. Mayes is an exceptional track sprinter, I would be surprised if he left, he has a future in track (college) more than football.
Great list, my only qualm would be asking why Cameron is so far down the list. Considering that his numbers, as a reciever, were some of the best in the region shouldn't he be a spot or two higher? Or is it because he is a one way impact player? Look for Vinny Berardi to be the best lineman in the league for GI. He led the team in pancake blocks last year as a sophmore.
Seems like CC and Huron will both be bringing back fast o lines. Oughta be another good game between the 2.
this is to the one way comment posted earlier. Mays is good enough to go both ways but isnt needed, airports defense is strong enough with out him, Pannone may end up going both ways i predict will the loss of labeau howey and lovell, watched him run as a freshmen. Rob white is a Quarterback, you try to keep him away from injury, he is too good to get hurt playin defense when you need him to throw the ball to cameron, but who knows they need a defense if they want to will so maybe he will.
just my opinion, id love to hear others
Put CC's whole O-Line on that list..you will see a bigger and even better line than in 09.The best is yet to come.Bigger, faster, stronger and more experienced.Cant wait as a Huron League fan to see what 2010 has.CC will again be tough to handle.Good Luck to all the teams.Hope everyone is lifting and getting ready for the 2010 season.
Be sure to watch Huron bring winds of change. Plenty of changes going to be made as well as returning linemen and ones that sat out. Defense will be tougher and Offense won't be flat. Good luck all!
WINDS OF CHANGE…how refreshing to see that from others on this blog.
I'll wait and see if GI shows up with some "D"!!!
2010 should be most interesting indeed.
2 and 3 both one way players. To me, two way players are the more valuable to a coach.
Those are all probably just rumors. I wouldnt worry about that whatsoever.
Thats a pretty good team right there. You could go as deep as 20 and still be naming all-region canidates.
How about Jake Sterling?? He's a better overall player at jeffferson…very good safety, good QB….McCullough can do one thing
Wow! Three GI players make the list. Maybe there are winds of change coming from the island for this next season.
I'm really not trying to start anything here, Im just asking a question. I've heard rumors that Mays and some other airport players were going to transfer to monroe. Are these just rumors? Anyone know? Again not starting anything, just wanna know. Thanks!
