Gonna be hard for Huron, they lose an awful lot on both sides.
Huron all the way this year tough game should be against airport and CC but they should be a threat again this year
I hear your beloved "tommyo" is going to coach at a school in the downriver league..
we need tommy o
That's a load of garbage. FR hadn't had a winning season in the 15 years prior to Coach P being there. He was able to go 5-4.
FR didn't win last season because there were sophomores playing against seniors.
As for the teacher comment, that has nothing to do with anything. If the "powers that be" at the school didn't think he could do the job, they would get rid of him.
You know it takes more than a good class to be successful in the Huron League. You have to have a solid class either in front or behind them.
flat rock has along way to go before reaching the days of 1976. first of all they will need a coach that the kids can belive in coach P is not that guy. his offence has no chance when you dont change anything week after week and get your butts kicked because your so predictable. Blosser only ran the ball to the rigth side all year long. Knoch only up the middle, passing was a five yard out pattern when you needed 15 yards for the first down. and only one player went out for the pass. i wish the boys at flat rock all the luck in the world they will need it as long as coach P is in charge. its time to find someone new. but that wont happen because P is a teacher and has a contract that will allow him to stay until he is ready to retire. and thats to bad because its a great bunch of kids, GO RAMS!
the FR jv line solid ? scored 0 against CC jv
Chris, Thanks for the blogs. I appreciate all the time and effort it takes to produce these things. Much success as you go forward. You did a great job. Take that all you hate-mailers !!!!
hahaha at 3:35 check out whites block on a kid from flatrock
Flat Rock was single handedly the worst Football Team I have ever seen this year. It can only go up from there I guess.e
I believe he's talking about the people who actually got all huron league and what not. You didnt post it this year only your list. If you love us you could also include who got all region, state, etc.
Are you looking for the coaches picks.
How about league honors – curious to know the coaches perspectives?
Just watch highlights of every Michigan game this year and you will see Grosse Ile's defense.
Are you kidding me? Flat Rock has a good chance to beat any team in the league next year. As does any other team. And those are pretty good numbers for 15 year old kids in the HL. So don't bash, embrace. Remember, Huron wasn't supposed to be good either, and they won games.
Look out for green and gold
I want to see highlight's of the Grosse Ile defense.
This years sophomore class of Airport's might be the most talented group since the '03 team. Aside from the JV team goin 9-0, 4 sophomores started on varsity. Including Potcova, who could be the best qb in the league the next 2 years.
doesn't look like he had many highlights in the CC and Huron games.. lol
Chris,
Did you see any of next years schedules yet? Last league games are set for a rivalry week: SMCC v. Jefferson, Riverview v. GI, Flat Rock v Huron, and Milan v. Airport. Looks like the AD's are thinking.
Just like Flat Rock was supposed to do good this year too right? Flat Rock will never beat CC, Airport, or Milan even if they have an off year.
I admire your backing of the Rams but I don't see that record happening. First they need to actually be in games against the good teams before they start winning. They need to start being competitive. I can't see them having a chance against SMCC, Airport or Milan. Not sure about Huron, Grosse Ile, Riverview and Jefferson either so that leaves their non-league games to win for their two victories. The yardage you brag about really isn't that high of a total. Those boys run hard eveey play but unfortunately that doesn't always translate to victories. I see them more the flip side of that at 2-7. Not putting them down, it is just my opinion.
I believe The sophomores will lead Flat Rock to the old glory days of 76. Flat Rock will be a tough team next year, they will dress a little over 30 and will have the best backfield in the Huron League. Knoch(482) Blosser(635) and Deleon(77). The JV line was solid, and will return Sr Dave Ritchie and Beau Wrobel. Defensive aggression I believe is therebonly weakpoint, And FR always comes to hit. Joe Pruchnicki will be 7-2 next year.

rob whites highlights
Based on returing talent and players moving up from jv, I would call Airport the favorite next year. Don't go Chris or I will send you hate mail.
