Each week, I will go through the box scores of all of our teams and pick four players whom I will turn to you, the people, to determine our HH Designs Player of the Week.
There are a lot of choices in a given week, so narrowing them down to four is a challenge in itself. If you have anyone in particular to nominate, hit me up on Twitter. That will actually help me out, as my Friday nights are busy with officiating.
You can then vote in our Twitter poll @FNVictors to determine the final outcome.
Without further ado…
Jacob Shank, RB, Riverview: Shank had just ten attempts, but he made them all count as he rang up 180 yards and four touchdowns, plus a two-point conversion in Riverview’s 49-27 win over Monroe.
Tyler Fraczek, RB, Grosse Ile: Withe the Red Devils in a must win situation to make the playoffs against a 5 win Division 3 team, Fraczek was a workhorse as he carried the ball 33 times for 217yards and 3 TD’s.
Omari Carter, RB, Carlson: Carter has been the straw that stirs the drink for the Marauders, and he showed why again with a 29-carry, 262 rushing yard, and a score night to help Carlson secure a share of the Downriver League Championship.
Cole Jondro, RB, SMCC: Jondro saved his best performance for the last game in the regular season, as the senior rushed for 198 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries in the Falcons’ 41-22 upset win over Ecorse.
Honorable Mention: Ronny Johnson, RB, Milan; Jack Mills, RB, Airport; Gavin Moczydlowsky, QB, Huron; Cooper Nye, QB, Airport; Graham Junge, QB, Flat Rock; Rocco Breslin, WR/LB, Flat Rock; Rory Callahan, TE, Huron; Evan Marcon, RB, SMCC; Ethan Jeffers, RB, Summerfield; Logan Goodin, LB, Erie Mason; Dean Thomas, RB/DB, Ida; SMCC Offensive Line
