  1. Ok my diagram didn't quite come out like i typed it.

Wing T is typically a double TE with one wing and 2 RBS, one right behind QB and the other right next to him.

  2. I believe those are numbers from the second semester count for 2012 which would have been in late February. Those are the numbers used for 2012-13 school year.

I can double check another source that might verify those.

  3. Jefferson JV having a rough time of it. 5 of the main kids are hurt, and 3 other main kids are moved up to Varsity. Could be a tough year. They will salvage what they can. They were a great team last year and they will be back.

    1. Jeffersons Jv is a great team. I have to agree with u on salvaging the season. I seen them play last year as freshman, they r a bunch of tough kids. They r the true definition of Jefferson football. When they r all back together the here league better watch out. Mark my word!!!

  4. Did you make those numbers up or what?? I dont believe those enrollment numbers are correct. They havent counted this year yet. I am involved in American Legion baseball and I have the enrollment of all the schools in the state from 2011. They do not match yours. If your not concerned with accuracy and just making a point, great. Not trying to give any undeserved grief.

  5. Chris-you are good! The point I was getting at is Airport and most of these other schools have a lot more kids. Unless more kids at Flat Rock become interested in football (which they will with the young coach) they are almost always gonna be over-matched in the Huron League. Not really sure what other leagues downriver that are of smaller schools though.

  6. I know this is totally off the subject but how many kids are enrolled at Flat Rock compared to Airport? When I played Flat Rock was considered class C which would be division 5 now I think.

But regardless of that I believe the new coach on varsity at Flat Rock is a good fit over there. Don't think it'll take long for more kids to come out wanting to play football over there.

  7. Anytime I've seen airport play I've seen 2 wings and a deep set FB with a WR split out wide. Are you referring to this as a wing T?

  8. Does it matter who played when? It's a football game. If you're dressed for the game you're a player. It doesn't matter when the reserves or freshmen go into the game.

Are you trying to say that Airport could have scored 100 points? Then say it.

  9. Just to set to set it straight… Airport's JV and Freshman score was 58-14, Flatrock never had 10!!!! The JV players played until 3:00 mins left in the second quarter at the half the score was 52-6

  10. I think most of the kids play in the Monroe First Downers League. That's also one heck of a feeder program. All teams have to run the wing T. (Monroe High's offense and Airport's) not sure who else runs it.

  11. Airport JV and Freshmen vs. Flat Rock JV
58-10. Airport JV only played the first quarter… Thats over 160 Points in 3 games for Airports JV.. Hoping Flat Rock's program gets better…
The Varsity Coach seems to be involved. Huron Yellow Jackets is one hell of a feader program. It just takes some involvement.
