The Whiteford Bobcats fought hard but ultimately fell short against Clinton, losing 38-32. Despite a stellar performance from Trenton Eitniear, who rushed for 59 yards and scored four touchdowns, the Bobcats couldn’t overcome Clinton’s potent offense.
Eitniear’s impressive runs and determination kept Whiteford in the game, but Clinton’s Gradyn Whelen and Bryce Randolph proved to be a formidable duo. Whelen threw for 77 yards and scored a touchdown, while Randolph rushed for 115 yards and scored twice.
The game was a back-and-forth affair, with both teams trading blows. Whiteford’s Shevy Alexander and Brek Ruddy contributed to the Bobcats’ efforts, but Clinton’s Andy Fair made crucial plays, including a 59-yard touchdown reception.
With the loss, Whiteford drops to 5-5, while Clinton improves to 7-3 and advances to the district final against undefeated SMCC
