SMCC Falcons Defeat Blissfield 41-6

The SMCC Falcons dominated the Blissfield Royals 41-6, improving their perfect record to 10-0. The Falcons’ Drew Harris led the charge, rushing for 162 yards and scoring three touchdowns.

The game began with a bang as Cole Reinhardt returned the kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown. Harris then scored on runs of 20 and 89 yards, setting the tone for the Falcons’ convincing win.

Lukas Linzell added a 26-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, and Jack Fox sealed the victory with an 85-yard kickoff return touchdown in the fourth quarter.

The Falcons’ defense was stout, holding Blissfield to just six points. Ethan Samuels’ 38-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter was the Royals’ lone highlight.

With this win, SMCC advances to the district championship game against Clinton (7-3) at Navarre Field in Monroe. The Falcons previously defeated Clinton 22-14 in week one.

  • Falcons we are coming for you. You will have no chance of beating us. We are going to make some more light bulbs go out on that scoreboard. Watch what happens Friday night. Remember what happen last time when we came down there when you were league champs. 2015 all over again.

    • Brady Hines is a FREAK!!! Blissfield tried running a sweep away from Brady and he came down the line and made the tackle on the other side of the field for a 2 yard loss. He’s fun to watch! Just my opinion-hands down the best player in the HL and in Monroe County.

  • Hard to beat a team twice in a season, Clinton is shutting down the town for this one. They are going to come into Navarre field and put a ass whopping on Smcc they never seen before. They are going to end Smccs perfect season with a running clock. Clinton is playing there best ball right now. So buckle up Smcc because the Red Wolves are coming to town with 5,000 strong. It’s over for the falcon. 55-12 victory.

    • Boy, this guy shows up consistently every week trying to motivate the Falcons. Let’s face it if even 250 people come from Clinton. They won’t have a place to sit at Navarre field.

Come on people don’t take it personally. That was funny!

      • That was pretty funny Chris. Bring a lawn chair and maybe a flashlight to see. My heart says Falcons win but my mind says Clinton pulls the upset. Too many flashbacks of 2015. I hope I am wrong.
